Chapter 3

-Two weeks later-

The pride lands was peaceful once again, the lion guard faught off Junja and his hyenas with also saving panicking zebras.

Now it was just two different animals having their alone time.

Kion was doing all kinds of things to Fuli, nuzzling and kissing her.

These weeks been the best but also the stressful.

He's been hiding his feelings for Fuli when he just wants to let it the whole land know, but didn't.

"Kion, we need to talk." Fuli said as he was kissing her neck.

"And what will that be." Kion said not stopping.

"This. It's dangerous."

That made Kion stop and look at her, seeing she was serious.

"No it's not."

"Yes, it is."

"How."

"When have you ever seen a lion with a cheetah?"

"Never."

"Exactly." Fuli stands from Kion. "We're not equal."

"We could be the first."

"You're not listening Kion, what will everyone think of us? A lion with a cheetah."

"I don't care." Kion said sternly walking to Fuli nuzzling her. "I don't care what others will think, all I care about is you by my Fuli."

"But-"

"No buts, what happens between us is our decision, not anyone else."

Fuli sighs, but smiling anyway.

And they both nuzzle before completely pulling away hearing a faint voice.

"Kion, Fuli we need your help!" Ono said making it in front of them.

"Ono, what is it?"

"The hyenas are back and started a heard of antelope to run."

"Let's move!"

Kion and Fuli made it to the area seeing the antelope running towards a cliff.

"Le-"

"I got it." Fuli said, cutting Kion off running into acting.

Fuli caught up to them quickly circling around the antelope making the gather and stop.

"Everyone okay?" Fuli asked.

"Yes, thank you Fuli." A femalw antelope said.

The rest of the guard came running towards them.

"Is anyone hurt?" Kion asked.

"No your highness."

"What caused you to run?"

"There was a rock slide. We were scared to get hurt."

"Glad you didn't." Beshte said.

"Where was the rock slide?" Ono asked.

"Over by ranue valley."

"That's where come rock slides are mostly."

"Let's go check it out." Kion said.

The antelope left and before the guard left this happened.

"Fuli, why didn't you wait for us?"

"Come on Kion, you put me on the guard cause I'm the fastest, if my speed could help shouldn't I use it?"

"Yes, but we need to come up with a plan first."

"I know but did we really have time to come up with a plan before the antelope hit the edge."

"No but still."

"Still what Kion, the job is done, that's all that matters."

Fuli walks past Kion.

Kion sighs then they walk away to ranue valley.

The guard made it to Ranue Valley, and it was a bi mess with all the rocks.

"Looks like it's going to be one of those days." Fuli said knowing what's going to happen.

"The raining season!" Bunga cheered.

"Yep, the rain season is coming but we also need to prepare." Ono said.

"Ono's right, the raining season caused mudslides, rockslides, and landslides. We need to stay focused on this." Kion said.

The guard agreed.

This was mostly serious than anything else.

After a long day the night sky was finally out meaning it's time to sleep.

Everyone went their separate ways.

Bunga headed to Hakuna Matata falls, Beshte went to the watering hole, Ono went with the other egrets, now that leaves Kion and Fuli.

"Where are you going?" Kion asked seeing Fuli walking a different way.

"To my den." Fuli replied continuing walking.

"But that's far away, why not come with me to pride rock."

"Kion, I really appreciate it but I don't want to bother you."

"You won't, I'll ask my mom." Kion went up to the entrance. "MOM!"

Nala lifts her head yawning, "Yes Kion?" Nala asked tiredly.

"Is it okay if Fuli spend the night with us? Her place is far away."

Nala eyes the two but smiled.

"Of course."

"Thank you queen Nala." Fuli said as she walks inside.

"Don't thank me, anytime you need a place to stay you're always welcome."

Fuli smiled, Queen Nala was always sweet to others and generous at that.

As the night went on everyone was asleep, Kion and Fuli kept good distance to not draw any suspicions.
