Love Will Find A Way

Chapter 11

-Three days later-

The prince was pacing around in the Lair. Kion couldn't calm down, he couldn't calm down.

Ono came flying right in front of Kion.

"Ono, have you found anything?" Kion asked, hoping something would lead to Fuli.

"Negative. I looked everywhere." Ono responded.

Kion didn't know how to feel. Fuli was missing and for three days!

"Kion, go get some fresh air." Beshte suggested.

Kion nodded before walking out back up pride rock.

Kion just sat on the ledge of pride rock looking over the horizon.

For three days he's been looking for Fuli and of who could've took her but he caught no scent and no trail.

"Don't worry Kion we'll find her." Kiara said sitting next to her little brother.

"I...I don't know what I'm going to do if I find her, dead." Kion muttered.

"Kion, have your faith, never give up. Guess what you're doing."

"What?"

"You're giving up, on Fuli."

Then Kion's eyes widen.

He was giving up on Fuli! And he loves her. Who would do that.

"I don't want to make you feel bad, but it's the truth, you have to think harder than you ever did before. Fuli is still alive, if she was you would've felt it."

Kiara then walks away back to the cave.

Kion knows everything Kiara said is true. How could he give up on the friend he grew to love.

"Grandfather, I don't know what to do, how to start, I want to save her...before It's to late, please."

Soon the clouds started forming right in the sky showing Mufasa's spirit.

"Kion, don't give up, never give up on the ones you love." Mufasa said.

"But I don't know where to start, Fuli could be anywhere." Kion said.

"Yes, but not far away as you think."

"What do you mean?"

"Think Kion, who would want Fuli, where would they take her."

Kion thought for a hard second then his eyes widen.

"You two love each other, I expect your relationship, never give up on one another. Your time is coming."

"My time? But my time is over for the lion guard."

"Yes, but not your leadership. Your new time has begun, starting with you saving your mate."

Soon the clouds started to disappear.

"Grandfather Mufasa wait!"

"Save her."

Mufasa's spirit was now gone and Kion knew what he had to do.

Ono flew over the dark shadows seeing his target.

Flying back over to flat ridge rock where the guard was.

"Affirmative." Ono told.

"I knew it." Kion growled looking over the place he hated to the most.

The Outlands.

"Those hyenas are asking for it now!" Bunga said getting ready mid jump but something caught him.

Kion had caught his friend with his teeth, "Not yet Bunga. We need a plan."

Bunga gets out of Kion's grip.

"Plan, why can't we just run there and fight?"

"Cause this is different. If we charge in there without a plan we'll get ourselves hurt and mostly put Fuli at risk."

"Oh right."

"Now here's the plan."

In the dark shadows the hyenas was gathering around with Mzingo.

"I'm surprised Kion and his friends haven't came to save his previous mate." Junja laughed.

"And I thought he loved her." Chungu laughed.

"Guess he does not." Cheezy laughed and everyone else.

"Hey!"

The hyenas turn seeing Bunga.

"You wanna talk tough let's fight tough!" Bunga said rolling his fists.

"Get him!" Janja ordered as they chase Bunga.

Kion ran through the dark shadows then saw something or someone.

"Fuli." Kion said running.

Fuli was trapped in a bone cage, laying on the ground.

Kion got a closer look at her then gasped.

She was unconscious, covered in dirt and skinny, skinnier than she supposed to be.

He moved the bones, grabbing Fuli before running.

Bunga and Beshte handled the hyenas until they surrendered.

They looked up in the sky seeing Ono above them giving the signing.

So they ran back in victory.

The sun was setting and the guard made it back to the Lair where Makini and Rafiki waited.

"Rafiki, she's not looking well!" Kion said urgently, laying Fuli down.

Rafiki quickly checks Fuli then sighs giving everyone's hearts nearly panic attacks.

"She is fine. Very dehydrated, hungry and tired." Rafiki said.

Everyone sighs.

Kion went over to her before giving her nuzzles attempting to wake her up which did help for a little while.

She did open her eyes to where they saw green but closed them.

"Give it time Kion, she'll wake up soon." Makini said with hope.

"And when is soon?" He asked.

"When she decides." Rafiki said as they leave.

Kion looks back down at his mate.

"I'm so sorry, Fuli, I should've never left you alone knowing there was danger after us."

Kion got on the rock laying right next to Fuli. He lift her arm so her was laying behind his neck before falling asleep.
