It was the next day, sun just risen and so did the prince.

Kion yawns and stretches knowing it's another day for patrol.

Looking down Fuli was pouting at him and he knows what she's trying to do.

"No." Kion said.

"Fine." Fuli said, still tired anyways.

Kion gives her a kiss before leaving to meet up with the others.

He doesn't need to worry about Fuli cause she's not in danger from anyone. He even got the pride and his family to look out for her.

The guard met up at the waterhole ready for the early morning.

"Kion, you're still alive!" Bunga said.

"Ha ha very funny Bunga." Kion said, knowing his best friend is the joker in the morning. "Anything uncertain Ono?"

"No, everything was clear but anything could change." Ono replied.

"You're right, let's go lion guard."

It might be hard to cover more ground without Fuli but nothing is going to stop them from working.

The lioness was out in the sun on the side of pride rock. With all the trees for shade and sledge/rocks for relaxing.

Nala, Kiara, Tifu, Zuri and Fuli were all at the end chilling against the shade.

"Ah such a nice day." Zuri sighed.

"Yeah better being on the lion guard working." Tifu said.

"What's that trying to mean?" Fuli asked.

"Just all you could do is relax and not hurt yourself."

"It's my responsibility."

"To.."

"Protect the circle of life. Until I am ready to give my position away."

"Wait you can do that?" Zuri said confused.

"Yes any of the guard can past their position away."

"And when will you do that?" Kiara asked.

"Not until I find someone who will take the job seriously until then I don't know."

Fuli really wants to retire but doesn't know who can show they are the fastest.

None of the lions were up for the positions to be in the guard nor has anyone they knew in the pridelands.

This will be a hard decision to find.

Kion sighs as him and the rest of the guard walks back in the lair after fighting of some jackels.

"What a day." Bunga said exhausted.

"You said it lil B." Beshte said chilling in the pond.

"You guys relax, I'll check on Fuli." Kion said before walking out.

Kion walks into a place him and Fuli found when wondering around pride rock.

No on knows about it but them.

"Fuli."

The cheetah turns seeing her boyfriend with a smile on his face.

"Hey, How was your day?" Fuli asked as Kion went over to her giving her a kiss.

"Just chasing jackels."

"Jackels trying to steal like always."

Kion agreed with her this been for a while now.

He kissed her more before getting on top of her.

They haven't been lovey dubby in two months.

"Oh so now you want to make love to me." Fuli joked.

"Been busy." Kion mumbled into her neck.

"To busy for me?"

"Never."

"Thought so."

After three hours Kion stopped wanting to go forever but can't.

Fuli on didn't want to stop either but they have to always be on alert.

"Kion?"

"Yeah."

"Can I ask you something?"

"Anything."

"Who proves to be the fastest in Vitani's pride."

Kion smirks knowing where she's getting at.

Soon this will lead to the next lion guard.
