As the sun rises so did a cheetah, when the sun rised it was time for morning breakfast.

Fuli yawns looking around seeing every lion still asleep, that made her shake her head.

Lions wasn't that much to mornings.

Getting up carefully passing everyone not wanting to wake up anyone head outside breathing the fresh air.

Just when Fuli was about to go someone called her.

"Fuli?"

Fuli turns seeing Kiara, the first born cub, future queen of the pride lands.

"What are you going out here, actually when did you get here?"

"Last night Kion asked Nala to let me stay the night since my den was far away, I'm about to go hunting." Fuli answered.

"Hunting? Isn't it to early?"

"Not for me."

"We'll can I come? I could get use to hunting."

"Sure, let's go."

The two ran down leaving pride rock.

-----------------------------------------------

They made it to grass fields seeing four animals, gazelles and zebra.

Cheetahs mostly go for gazelles than zebra, and Lion mostly go for zebra than gazelle.

"Okay ready?" Fuli asked, looking at Kiara who looked uncertain.

"Um, I..." Kiara stumbled across her words. "I never hunted real animals before." She confessed.

"Never?"

"Never."

"But I thought Nala teached you?"

"Only training, I never gotten the opportunity to actually hunt."

Fuli thinks before coming up with a idea.

"Okay well you have me and I been doing this since I was on my own, just follow me, don't make any noise."

"Okay."

Fuli carefully disappears in the tall grass with Kiara behind her. She mare it fifty feet away from her target.

"Stay here and watch." Fuli whispered before slowly going closer.

Fuli was at a good spot not taking her eyes of the gazelle, once the gazelle caught her eyes it ran making Fuli run after it. After twenty seconds she caught it taking her kill, looking up the zebras and gazelle didn't hear or see anything since they were more far away.

Fuli saw Kiara running over to her with a surprised look.

"You did amazing Fuli, how did you do it?" Kiara asked.

"Keeping my eyes and mind on the target. Now it's your turn." Fuli said.

Kiara slowly creeps over to the zebra making sure to stay down hidden in the grass. Once she was close she instantly chased the zebra making it runs, and after awhile Kiara ran out of breath.

"It got away!"

"You weren't patient." Fuli said running to her. "You can't run after it like that, it's what makes hunting worst."

"Meaning?"

"You have to let your target run before you run, if run before then your target will run more further. They make the head start not you."

"Aw man."

"It's alright Kiara, you just learned a rule of hunting, never run after you prey first. Not every hunt will be a success."

"I'll keep that in mind, I want to start over."

"Then let's start over."

Kiara got into position keeping her eyes on the target.

"Let them run first." Kiara whispered reminding herself.

Soon the zebra made contact and ran, Kiara ran straight after it, once she was close she used her paw to try and trip the zebra. She knew she wouldn't be able to make it from the neck but she can try and slow it down.

The zebra tripped giving Kiara the advantage to go for the kill.

Fuli waited seeing Kiara heading back with her first kill in her mouth.

"Great job Kiara, you made your first hunt!" Fuli congratulated, as the princess drops the zebra.

"And I wouldn't have done it without you!" Kiara thanked with a big smile, she made her first hunt.

"Hakuna Matata, now let's eat."

They eat their breakfast with smiles on their face.

---------------------------------------------

Kiara and Fuli made it made to pride walking up they saw the royal family run out.

"Kiara where have you been?" Nala asked, sounding worried.

"I made my first hunt!" Kiara said.

"Really?"

"Yes, I had Fuli to teach me."

"That's great."

"It is but next time let us know." Simba said.

"Yes dad. Oh! Can we go hunting tomorrow Fuli?"

Fuli looks down at the princess then at the family seeing them nodding.

"I don't see why not."

Kiara walked inside the cave.

"So how did she do?" Nala asked.

"Just her patience was off, other than that she did great. Now I should get going thank you for having me."

"Like I said you're welcome anytime."

Fuli was walking away.

"Let me come with you." Kion said walking to her.

"Gee is everyone attached to me all of a sudden." She joked as they walk off laughing.

Simba and Nala watches them walk off thinking before speaking.

"I kinda like Fuli." Nala said.

"Me too." Simba said then they left.

--------------------------------------------

"My sister seems to like you." Kion said as they were walking.

"I don't see how, I just taught her hunting." Fuli said.

"But you helped her learn, and I'm sure she's happy someone taught her steps than examples."

"Hey she wanted help, I gave her help."

"So how do you feel being around others?"

"Meaning?"

"Fuli, you're always alone."

"Cause I like being alone, we went over this Kion."

"I know we're looking out for you, no one has to be alone all the time."

Fuli sighs looking over the cliff seeing a valley of random flowers.

"Don't push us away Fuli, Everyone's here for you, I'm here for you."

Fuli smiled at him saying thank you and they just watching over the horizon.

Kion smiled.

"Soon, soon I'll tell her how I really feel." He said in his head.
