Chapter 10

"Two days, two days." Fuli kept repeating to herself.

The cheetah has been pacing around thinking of what to do all day..

She has two days left before she is fully healed and can get back to work.

It was peaceful relaxing but wanted to start doing things.

Walking out onto the ledge of pride rock Fuli saw something yellow running this way. Luckily with her close vision she saw it was Azzad.

Going going down walking up to him with a smile she hasn't seen him in a while.

"Azzad, what a surprise!" Fuli said happily.

"Nice to see you too, Fuli, long time no see." Azzad said.

Azzad is a cheetah. He lives on the far side of the pride lands and likes to travel to different places.

"It was not and you chose to go see more of the world."

After helping Kion from turning evil, Azzad left and traveled. No one seen or heard from him since.

"Travel is my thing. So are you staying here?"

"You can say that."

"But isn't it full of lions?"

"The royal family said I can stay here whenever I want. I don't be here most of the time."

"Oh acting like royalty."

"No."

"Yeah right."

"And what if I was?"

"Then I should respect the queen's wishes."

When Azzad bowed it made Fuli laugh. She needed some cheering up.

They went back in forth joking and laughing until.

"What's going on here?"

Fuli looks over her shoulder seeing her boyfriend walking to them.

"Hey Kion, Azzad came over for a quick visit." Fuli said still smiling.

Kion eyes switched to the male cheetah who was smiling as well. Kion didn't like this at all.

"Nice to see you again Azzad." Kion said.

"You too prince." Azzad said bowing his head.

Fuli loved the way how he was respectful and loyal, you never see that everyday.

Kion caught the corner of his eye the way Fuli was looking at him, it made his blood boil.

"So haven't you been here long enough, it will be getting dark soon."

"Oh you are right prince. I must get going."

"But it will be getting dark soon like Kion said, you can find somewhere in the pride lands to rest." Fuli said full of concern.

They were both right about it getting dark soon and Fuli had a guess Azzad doesn't live in the pride lands and somewhere far away.

"Oh it's quite alright, Fuli, I'll be just fine. See you some other time."

Then Azzad ran off into the distance. Fuli sighed before hitting Kion in his neck.

"OW! What was that for?" Kion asked in pain rubbing his neck.

"You were being mean!" Fuli said, he had a horrible way of hiding his emotions.

"I was not, I was being polite like usual."
