Chapter 5

-5 weeks later-

Kion was happy Fuli was opening up from being a loner, she would do things with others now.

Beshte asked her did she wanted to get a little wet but he forgot she hates water, but Fuli just stepped with with her paws and that was it, it was worth a shot. Bunga did a show for her at Hakuna Matata falls luckily he didn't get her wet. Ono was talking her out with random theories. And Kion just let her be.

"Hey." Kion said.

"Hey Kion." Fuli said with a smile which he returned. "What're you doing here?"

"Just wanted to clear my head."

"How's that working for ya?"

"Count me not banging my head against another rock till sundown."

"You really do that?"

"Don't test it."

Kion saw that smirk and she was going to test it.

"Let's go somewhere alone."

Fuli ohf'd as Kion pushed her down on the ground.

They were behind a waterfall where no one they knew would know they were here.

Kion lay on top of Fuli's soft body giving her kisses.

He's happy they found this place, it was where they can be alone and show a part no one knows.

He still haven't told her how he feels, but he will need to soon before he doesn't. Kion blinked looking down seeing a beautiful cheetah emerald eyes looking concerned.

"I'm okay." Kion said lowly, luckily she heard it but didn't look convinced. "I'm okay." He kissed her washing away the concern.

After a good sixty minutes the two was knocked out, well except for one.

"Better now than never." Kion said to himself before nudging Fuli. "Fuli, Fuli wake up."

Fuli groaned not opening her eyes but he knew she was half awake.

"Yes." Fuli said not wanting to move.

"I have to tell you something, something important."

"What is it?"

"I-"

Kion was cut by a loud bang. That doesn't sound good.

"What are we going to do?" Fuli asked a lil shooken up.

Kion gave her a reassuring kiss making sure she doesn't get scared.

"We leave."

So much for telling his feelings, nothing goes his way.

They left the waterfall running back to pride rock.

-Back at pride rock-

In the cave two lioness was talking but not loud.

"Looks like it's going to rain." One of them said.

"Yes, but can we talk about something Tifu."

"Like what Zuri?"

Tifu and Zuri are sisters and Kiara's best friends.

"That cheetah girl, what's her name again? Tili, Hani, Fani, Guli..." Zuri standing naming from the back of her head.

"Fuli." Tifu said.

"Yeah, Fuli, she's hanging around Kion to much."

"Now that you said it, isn't it weird that she sometime comes here sleeping?"

"Yeah, and the most part the way she looks at Kion and sticks by his side."

"I don't like her not ome bit and she stole Kiara from us."

"No one steals our best friend, we met her first and knows everything about her."

"You thinking what I'm thinking."

"Get rid of Fuli, she's not taking Kion."

"Right."

The two then heard laughing looking at the entrance seeing Kion and Fuli running in soaken wet from the rain.

"Next time stay under a tree." Fuli laughed.

"Only if you listen to me." Kion said.

They shaked themselves try them see Tifu and Zuri.

"Oh hey Tifu and Zuri, didn't see you there."

"Um what is she doing here Kion?" Tifu said.

The young adult looks confused to where that came from.

"Uh, Fuli has been staying here for three days?"

"Why, doesn't she got her own family to stay with." Zuri said.

That made Fuli eyes widen, as she slowly steps back not making eye contact.

But Kion furrowed his eyebrows at the two.

"It's raining outside she'll get sick."

"Cheetahs can take care of themselves." Tifu said.

"My mom gave her permission."

"It's okay Kion, I'll just leave." Fuli said and was about to walk out.

"No you stay."

"You sure she can stay with us, a cheetah is not apart of our pride." Zuri said.

Fuli really wanted to walk away but not in the rain.

"Look, she stays here, end of discussion!" Kion said sternly laying down.

Fuli slowly made it to the back area before curling up with her back turned.

Why are they acting like that?
