They are a lot like Michael so much. Dragons are protective over women. It used to be annoying to me alot  but i have gotten used to  it because I know it is something they can't help.It is in their genes. it is a major part of who they are. They are protectors of women and children.

I keep on looking out of the window. I don’t see them. I sign I hope they are okay.

Tressa says, “Maybe the kids are at the house.”

I tell her, “Yeah maybe you are right.”

Terry wipes his mouth and stands up, “Everything okay?”

I sign and tell him, “The boys aren’t home yet.”

I look at the clock again, “They probably are helping Clairie get home safely.”

Clairie’s parents lives in a bad part of town. One time she was attack and the boys had stopped her attackers before they would do worse then hit her a few times. They had been thirteen at the time.

Terry says laying his hand on my shoulder, “Ilona I will go see if I see them and I will tell them to get home that you are worried about them.”

I nod to him, “Thank you Terry please tell them I am worried.”

“I will send those boys straight home Ilona.” Terry grabs his hat.

I tell him, “Thank you again Terry.”

Terry tells me, “You are welcome see you girls tomorrow.”

Terry walks out to his truck. He gets in the truck. He pulls out of the parking lot. He is heading to the town. I hope he find them. It is not like them to be so late coming home. An hour has past no sight of them. I am worrying that something had happen to them.

I had walked in my office. I being to pace in my office. What had happen to my sons. Did someone jump them? Are they hurt?  My gut is heavy with a bad feeling.

You know the feeling you get when you feel sick to your stomach that is how I am feeling. I feel my sons are in trouble.

I grab my purse. I am going to go look for them. I am going crazy just pacing here. When I hear the ding of the door. I walk out to the dining room the chief of police walking my sons into the diner. People aren’t shock to see them in cuffs. A few of them are glaring at the chief.

I walk to them. They are bloody. They have been fighting with Edwin again. I knew something was wrong never doubt your gut feeling. I step back and I look at the them.

I sign crossing my arms, “What happen?”

Chief says, “Ilona.”

I ask them ignoring his tone, “WHAT happen?”

Nicholas Dean says, “They were picking on Clairie again.”

I frown at the chief, “Is this true?”

Chief says, “That isn’t what the mayor’s son says.”

I glare at him pissed, “Yeah you really going to believe that punk just because his daddy is the mayor.”

I reach into my purse. I grab my wallet. I pull five-hundred-dollar bills. I toss the money at him. The bills fall onto the floor.

I order him, “Remove those damn cuffs from my sons NOW!”

Alexander Nole smirks as the chief picks up the money, “Told you.”

I glare at him, “Enough!”

Chief flinches, “Ilona, they are only kids.”

I tell him pointing at his chest, “My sons. Every single damn time they protect their friend who can’t protect herself from the bully. He says they beat him up. You keep bring them to the diner in fucking handcuffs like they are criminals. When are you going to have the balls and arrest him? When will you grow a pair and do what’s right?”
