Chapter Twenty-Four

I hug his pillow to me. I miss him so much. I sign as I shut my eyes and go to sleep. I wake up feeling someone getting in the bed with me.

“Shh it is just me. Go back to sleep, little one.” Michael says to me softly.

I whisper it, “K.”

I turn and lay my head on his chest, “Michael, I am sorry I got upset with you.”

Michael hugs me to him, “No, I am sorry, I shouldn’t have yelled at you. Please shut your beautiful eyes and sleep with me holding you in my arms.”

I release a sign, “I would love that a lot.”

I lay my head on his chest. I shut my eyes. I am listening to his heart beat. I go back to sleep. I do love going to bed with Michael next to me. I feel safe I feel loved. I feel like I am important to him and he will keep me safe.

I wake up to Michael getting out of bed, “Go back to sleep.”

I sit up I rub the sleep from my eyes, “Where are you going?”

He sits back on the bed, “I have a meeting with the other alphas.”

I ask him, “Can I come with you?”

Michael says, “If you want to come, I will have mom make you something to take with us.”

I blush, “Um, I don’t have any clothes here.”

Michael smiles and hands me a dress. I smile when I see a note saying hope it fits. Happy tears fall down my cheeks.

“It is so beautiful.” Michael says, “Mom want you to have a dress that showcases your inner beauty.”

I slip the dress on me. I smile seeing myself in the mirror. I turn and face Michael.

He is staring at me like he is going to eat me, “Damn the meeting.”

I just hold my hand up, “We are hungry and we have a meeting to go to.”

“Michael, you are an alpha, you need to go to the meeting. We will be there with you.” I tell him, “Plus I want to walk to the lake and watch the sun set with your arms around me.”

Michael says, “So wise you are.”

I smile and press a kiss to his lips, “I try to be wise.”

He says, “I love you.”

I smile and tell him, “I love you, too.”

I am so happy. Michael and I are together. Our sons and him have a relationship. We are going to have three daughters in five months. We have peace and love.

Michael and I walk into the hallway. Irene smiles when she sees us.

Irene says, “I just knew you would look beautiful in it hope it is not too tight for you.”

I grab her hands, “Oh Irene, it is perfect thank you for the dress I love it.”

Irene hands Michael a small basket, “This is for her to eat during it.”

Michael says, “Thanks mom you are the best.”

He kisses her cheeks, “Thank you hope you guys have fun together.”

I hug her and she hugs me too, “Bye Ilona, show them how strong our luna is.”

I tell her, “Bye Irene, thank you for listening to me and being here for us. I will make you proud.”

Irene tells me, “I am already proud of you.”

Irene tells me as we walk to the front door, “You are stronger than you know. You have much strength within you. You are the future of our clan.”
