Michael is looking at me while I am sleeping. He throws the bloody clothes away. He signs running a hand throw his hair.

He looks at Tressa. She is looking at me sleeping. She walks to my bed. She reaches out to touch me but pulls back not wanting to wake me up.

“You don’t like me every much do you?” Michael asks her, she give Michael a know signing looking at him “I get it you were angry about finding out you had sons that were almost grown but you should have came here and help her settle.”

“I understand why she did it. Gods have mercy on me for allowing my angry to almost cost me not just my mate but our child. I almost was like my father.”

Tressa signs and says, “I have heard Joc and Ilona talk about him from time to time. Is he really that bad?”

Michael says, “Zacharias and I are the only pups they had. Something had happened when we got older. He started mistreating us. Our mom had tried to protect us but he would turn on her. He didn’t care that he had cause her to lose our siblings. He would just laugh at her when she told him she wouldn’t let him touch her anymore. He just told her until she comes into her heat cycle. See female dragons they go into a heat cycle twice a year and they are complete slaves to their heat cycles if they are mated, due to the bond between the mate pair the woman would surrender to the man always.”

Tress asks him, “What would have happened if he is killed?”

Michael looks at me signing, “You think he will try to come for Ilona.”

Tressa says, “She had scared the living hell out of us when she had that nightmare.”

Michael shuts the door lightly he says to her, “He has destroyed the bond he and our mother had. If one of us was to kill him I would have to go and help her push through the pain to survive.”

“She still feels the bond, doesn’t she?” Tressa says looking at Jack talking to Zac and Dodge, “Yes she does. Every time he has sex with someone else, she can feel it and it causes her a lot of pain. She wanted to return home so after telling me every single year she decides to have others tell me they want to return home.”

Tressa says, “When the hunters were at the diner Ilona was scare not just for the boys but for you too.”

He tells her, “I know she had rushes to the city to warn me. I had ripped those hunters apart when I had smell her on them.”

She hands him a cup of coffee, “Oh I know I remember hearing about when that creeper had tried to hurt her how you shatter his arm and hand, he had use to touch her.”

Michael says, “He will never come near her again now that he knows I am back.”

She laughs and says, “Thank gods for small favors.”

Michael looks at her, “He always would give me the creeps. Ilona would always put space between them. Your sons had shown his little bastard and little band of punks that they weren’t playing with them.”

Michael says, “Is it true your cousin can’t walk?”

Tressa tenses, “No, she can’t walk. Which is why Al and Nic are so protective of her.”

Tressa says, “Why are you asking about her?”

Michael says, “When will she be eighteen?”

Tressa says, “You didn’t answer the question Michael.”

He signs and says, “Once she is an adult, we can heal her.”

“What the hell are you saying?” Tressa says.
