-- Entry #21 - August 4th - Wednesday --

Riley, Reed, Phil, James, Violet, Chimney, Shiro, Kala, Matthew, and I left a few days after Lucilius was crowned. I could tell Lucilius was hesitant to let Chimney go since this is a mage matter and not a human one, but none of them could stop the prince from coming along. He had his mind set on tagging along, so he is coming along.

We are taking a quick break, to give the horses some rest, only an hour away from Laenadur. A lot has happened these past few weeks...or months really.

Right now, Chimney and Shiro are sparring while we watch and eat some food or rest. Shiro has gotten a lot better, he isn't exactly at 100%, but he is about over halfway there. I would spar with him, but Violet won't let me because of my arm. So...yeah, she is very persuasive and kinda scary when she gets mad.

I miss Estir...

Vienna isn't bad but...it isn't home. There is something about Estir that just makes me miss it. I don't know what it is. It could be the friends that I have there, I'm not sure. But I am happy to finally know some of the life and people I have in Estir. Sure, it is kinda guilt-inducing to know that I'm not home helping them...but I'm confident that they can handle things until I return.

Meanwhile, things here are...well they feel strange.

Like I have heard, there is a reason why magic feels so different between Vienna and Estir. Estir's magic is highly potent while Vienna's isn't. And I think it is that potency difference that is the reason why I can tend to feel so exhausted. I don't feel tired, I just feel run down and like I have no energy at times.

I don't know, I just don't feel as strong as I did on Estir as I do in Vienna. I felt energized, it must be because I'm what is called a high magic supply demander. That's what Notch called me at least when I asked him about it. Vienna doesn't have enough magic to fully restore me, I'm only about halfway restored in magic when I am here.

That's good to know, it is good to know that Vienna cannot handle me.

"Seto, ready to talk?" a voice asked making me look up at Riley. I nodded before I put my journal and magic pen away, sling my satchel over my head before getting up.

"Who won?"

"Chimney did, Shiro isn't exactly at top form right now," Riley said making me look at him.

"Was it right to let Shiro tag along? I mean, he--"

Riley gives me a smile before grabbing my shoulder. "No, but I know Shiro, he would have followed us. He should be with us than alone. He'll be okay, we'll protect him." He removed his hand before the others started to gather around.

It's been a long ride, about two weeks, hopefully, this will be worth it and if not...well, I guess we can return to the academy and come up with some plan?

No, this has to work.

"Okay, Seto, what is the plan? How are you going to convince the councilmen to step down?"

I smile as I crossed my arms. "Well, I don't plan on taking no for an answer. And I rather not have to threaten them. But...there is an asset that these councilmen don't realize is an asset."

"And what is that?" Phil asked.

I looked at Phil. "The people. Laenadur is the Magic Capital of the magus community. It is full of mages who respect and look up to you. If talking doesn't work...I propose a revolution."

"A revolution? Seto, we are in the middle of a war already," Phil said.

I nodded. "Yes, and how many lives has your councilmen thrown away so far? Heck, they almost threw away most of your lives simply because you are the top wizards in Vienna! They are attacking but not planning, they aren't using tactics, they are just throwing souls at the problem expecting it to fix itself. They need to work with the humans, they need a plan if they want to win this war."
