Honesty

As much as Jeha didn't want to leave Avianna. He needed to talk to Madam Choi.

He stood beside her hospital bed with his hands in his pockets. She looked up at him with her shoulders slumped, still in her hospital gown.

"As for me. I wouldn't be shocked if you did kill Anna's mother. I'm sure several people were killed." She looked away and stayed silent. "So, I would like you to tell me about it."

She looked at "Why? Why do you want to know?"

"Because of Anna. Anna firmly believes that you killed her mother. So, I'm not sure whether I should hold her back or not."

Yoojin swallowed thickly, her eyes blinked as she looked at the beige wall in front of her. "Let her be. Let her do anything."

He slightly nodded "Fine. Then let me just ask you this out of pure curiosity. Did you... kill Alina Michels?"

She took a deep breath before talking. She looked him in his eyes. "Okay. I'll be honest. Just with you. I... Didn't kill her. And I definitely..... didn't order it, either."

He believed her. The whole circumstance of the murder wasn't Yoojin's M.O. "So why have you allowed Assemblyman Jang and Anna to believe that you did?"

"Because... it's the only way for him to believe that I'm capable of killing, Anna." Jeha took in her words. "And that I could ensure that Jang Sejoon could not leave me that night, or ever." She said in sadness.

Jeha looked at her eyes. A true sense of sadness and loneliness lived behind them. She got emotional as she spoke. "And I know ... who the real murderer is. But... I can never reveal it." She released a breath. She finally got it off her chest.

"If you want to know more ... go ask Mirror. She knows everything about me. I've configured her so that she'll respond to you from now on. You're the only one with that power besides me."

She looked down and gave a dry chuckle. "Now, I have no choice but to to the police officer. And I'll face my investigation with dignity. But I don't know what my enemies will do while I'm in there." He nodded at her words.

She looks at him with seriousness "So someone needs to be able to access Mirror while I'm gone, right?

"But... why is that me of all people?"

"Because you trusted me and deleted that incriminating email. That email was your lifeline. Mirror is mine." She paused before speaking. "Mirror is my own life. And I'm entrusting it to you."

Moments pass as they look at each other. He would hold Anna back since Yoojin isn't the killer, but Jeha needed to get out of their mess and handle his mission.

Sungwon walks in without a care in the world. "Oops, I forgot to knock. My bad." He pointed in between them. "What vibe is this?"

Yoojin looks at Jeha. "You can leave now." Jeha walks away never acknowledging Sungwon.

Sungwon looks at her with surprise. "You're doing better than what I heard."

Yoojin's energy shifted at the sight of her scheming brother. "Sungwon. I'm disappointed in your writing skills."

He lets out a large laugh "What are you talking about? I've even received awards from essay writing contests when I was little."

"Don't do things you'll regret. I might just destroy your company too."

"Ah. Just give JSS to me, then. Wait no. You can keep JSS. Just give me Cloud Nine. That'll solve everything."

"Sungwon." He smiles at his name. "Lately, I've been thinking.. about why father gave JSS to me .... While he made you the next chairman. We needed Jin Han's help back then to survive, so it was a strategic move. But maybe he did this to prevent JB Group from being swallowed up by Jin Han Group."
