It's Time

Jeha walked into the building happily. He had a pep in his step and the agents welcomed him with a newfound respect. He gets in the elevator to head down to Cloud Nine. 

When he gets to Cloud Nine he does his biometric handprint scan and his biometric eye scan to enter the room.

"Welcome, sir." Dong Mi bows in respect to him. "Madam Choi is waiting for you."

Jeha looked at her weirdly. "I couldn't bring Park Kwan Soo's head so don't worry." He tries to walk away but she speaks again.

"I've been disrespectful... so please forgive me." He just looks at her and walks up the stairs into the glass room.

Madam Choi sat at the end of the table with her conniving energy. She held a real smile today. "Welcome."

"What's with her?" He motions with his head.

"Chief Kim? Why? It's only natural. You're the hero that saved JSS, after all." Her smile never faded.

"Hero?" She nods.

"Don't be so bothered about the way Chief Kim is acting. She's just probably scared that she may lose her head."

"Sadly, I couldn't bring Park Kwan Soo's head. So nothing can be done."

She crossed her arms and gave him a serious look. "Do you still want me to .... give you Chief Kim's head?"

They stared at each other for a moment. "You know. Sometimes, your jokes .... Sound really serious. I wonder why."

She laughs "Maybe, my acting is just so good." She relaxes "All right. Did you get anything from Park Kwan Soo?"

"He said that he'd ask me to kill you soon and gave me money."

"So you succeeded then." Her smile relaxed at the thought of Park Kwan Soo still plotting on her life.

Avianna, Eomma, Miran, and Sung Gyu were in the living room. Sung Won wanted to speak with them all.

"Geez. Were you able to sleep well after going through all that?"

Avianna slightly blushed, she was hoping her makeup hide it. "Ah, yes. I slept fine."

"That's a relief." Sung Won looks at the three standing in front of him. "You all are now assigned to work under me. I even raised your wages. I made this decision by myself. Any complaints?"

"We will do our best?" Miran said. The other two nodded in agreement.

"Don't worry about JSS. Just focus on protecting Anna. Also." He pulled out a black card and handed it to Miran. "Disable the security cameras. Install new ones. Buy any and everything you need with that card. It has an unlimited amount." Miran held the card like it was going to break. She's always wanted to use a black card.

"Uncle?" Avianna asked cautiously.

Sungwon smiled at her. "Yes, my favorite niece."

"As much as I appreciate this. What about the house?"

"Oh, this? This house was loaned to JSS from JB Group. But I have reworked the paperwork to where the house is in your name. You own it now."

Avianna was shocked. She knew that she had a couple of properties in her name that she inherited from her mother. But she always looked at Sungwon with suspicion. 'What is he up to?'

She knew that Jeha didn't trust him. And her intuition was telling her to watch her back when it came to him. But why?

"He said the money smelled like blood and not oil. Does that mean he got that money from dealing weapons?" Jeha asked.
