Betrayal

Kim Jeha stirred awake. His mouth was dry and his body ached. His eyes burned at the bright lights. As his vision began to focus he realized that he was inside of Cloud Nine.

He tried to sit up. He was pushed down by the head nurse of JSS. She was the nurse that Master Song had a crush on.

"Ahh, don't sit up." She gently pushed his body back down.

"Why am I in Cloud Nine?"

"They couldn't take you to the hospital because you are wanted by the police." The nurse looked nervous.

"Mmm." That was all he said. He was always wanted by some form of government agencies.

"Also...." The nurse said with hesitation "The young miss came to visit you yesterday when you were unconscious."

Jeha looked around in nervousness. "Mirror, did Anna come to see me yesterday?"

"Yes."

"Pull up the footage."

We watched the screen. His heart was filled with pain. It suddenly was the only emotion he felt. The look on her face. The worry and anguish.

She held him so softly. He watched as she professed her love to him. Something they should've done under different circumstances. She talked to him as if she would never see him again.

Small tears fell from his eyes. "When you wake up, forgive yourself, my love. You are a better man than you give yourself credit for. Keep being the man you are. Keep being the man I fell in love with. Jeha..... Oh, Jeha."

To be loved. To be truly loved and appreciated. For a woman to know his demons and still see him as a saint. To apologize for things she's never caused.

It was all for her. It will continue to be for her.

Yoojin walked in smiling. He was awake and she has truly been worried. But her smile dropped when she saw him watching the video of him and Anna.

'Love is not a group activity.' She repeated to herself as she watched him cry to himself.

He saw her, Dong Mi, Chief Joo and President Guk. Jeha wiped his face and pulled himself together and slowly sat up.

"You're awake?" Madam Choi said softly to him. He looked at her with disdain. "Mm. Did you get the flash drive from.... Seok Hwan?" He looked at her with unmoved eyes.

With an even sweeter tone "Where is it?"

"Cmon. Were in a hurry right now." President Guk said in irritation.

"I don't have it with me right now to give to you."

The room looked stunned. "We went through such lengths to save you. What do you mean you don't have it right now?"

"Forget it." Madam says to hush President Guk. "Well, why did you take it?"

His eyes met hers again "To bring down Park Kwan Soo."

"Then give it to me-"

"No." Jeha says cutting off the older overweight man. "You wont be able to during down Park Kwan Soo with it."

"Why?" Madam Choi said in confusion.

"If this is revealed. JB will fall too. Besides the consortium, one of the core members is Choi Sung Won. So, you can't reveal the contents without bringing down JB Group."

The room looked shocked at the words. "Alright."Madam Choi's wheels started to turn. "It will at least be a good defense."

He shook his head "No." Her face almost turned pained at the words no. "I didn't steal it to defend you either."
