Kuroken-Mafia AU (1) ✨

DISCLAIMER: i have never written a mafia au before (nor have a read any) so this might suck literally balls. Also it's gonna be a two part-er cause i had to opportunity for a cliffhanger and just ugh i couldn't not take it. Also this was suggested by @kwash-chan so i hope you enjoy! 

Kuroo POV

I dont know who did this, but they're gonna pay.

I am well respected and well feared. On May 11, my boyfriend was kidnapped while on a mission. I don't know how it could've happened, i had a tracker and an earpiece and everything. I was so incredibly careful, and i told him not to go, but he's too damn stubborn.

"Are you sure the tracker is attached?" I had said into his earpiece. I didn't have to see him to know he was rolling his eyes.

"Yes Kuroo, it's attached. Now just let me do this." I was following him on my screen. He was marked by a blinking green dot on my monitor, I could tell he was going fast and he wasn't being careful.

"Kenma what are you doing? slow down!"

"Tetsuro! I'm just jumping the fucking buildings, i'm fine." I leaned back in my chair, frustrated. I put my hand over my mouth and but my lip. Kenma was putting himself in so much danger, but i let my other recruits do this all the time, so i couldn't be too hard. "Fine whatever, just stay safe."

"Okay i get it, shut up and let me focus," he finished, turning off his receiver. I massaged my temples and tried to stop myself from worrying as i rolled my chair closer to the monitor.

I continued to watch the dot when it stopped at a certain spot. It was the place where Kenma was supposed to retrieve the stolen money. That dot had been there for about 20 minutes when Yamamoto walked in. his lip had been split open and he was getting blood on my carpet despite the fact that he had his gloved hand trying to stop it.

"Boss...Kenma...he's being help captive, i-i tried getting him but...well...the guy in charge over there wouldn't let me and uh Inuoka was shot in the shoulder, he's at the hospital." that was all Yamamoto managed to get out before he began to collapse. I hurried out of my chair and caught him before he hit the floor.

"Okay, you should go to the medical quarters, I'll tell the nurse that we're on our way."

I draped his arm over my shoulder to help stabilise his as we walked.

After i dropped him off and made sure that he would be okay, I went back to my office to sort out a plan.

I had to get Kenma back, i didn't care about the money, he was my only concern right now.

I called in Kai, my second in command. He was usually who I left in charge when i had to go on a mission myself. He usually only had to come in an emergency.

And right now was the biggest emergency of all.

"Yes sir? what did you need?" I stood up and put a hand in his shoulder.

"I'm sure you've heard about Kenma," he nodded his head, "I'm going to get him, i'm leaving you in charge while i'm gone, got it?"

"But sir, it's dangerous, i can-" I put a finger over my mouth as a way to tell him to be quite, and he fell silent.

"i'll be back soon."

"Yes sir."

I grabbed my pistol and put it in my belt. After i cracked my neck and got out onto the top of the building, I turned on my ear piece.
