(AN: One more thing, I decided to change the motive a slight bit. Instead of Monokuma giving the culprit anything they desire, he just gives them a weapon and nothing else, and he would take said weapon that they ask for will be taken from somewhere in the areas that are accessible to the students, to make this mystery a little more easy for everyone, as it would likely be impossible to narrow down to one suspect otherwise)

The three of them were silent. Staring at the body of a prankster who seemed to be regretting his actions, they could only stare. Eventually the other twelve came in, and had their own thing to say. Everyone besides Rantaro seemed utterly astonished

"Well, it seems he was the first domino to fall"

Sakura seemed the most composed of the individuals who were shocked

"Out of everyone, he was the biggest target, it seems, considering his behavior"

Miu was also composed, but the shock on her face as apparent

Monokuma then disappeared as quickly as he appeared

Taka and Byakuya immediately took charge

"So, it seems we need to spread out, and look for clues around the area. I'll have a team search around here. Taka, will you take a team to search the cafeteria and shower areas?"

"Affirmative!"

In the end, Taka took Sakura, Tenko, Nekomaru, Nagito, Ibuki, Ryoma, and Miu to investigate the cafeteria and showers, while Byakuya, Mahiru, Hiyoko, Sayaka, Angie, Rantaro, and Chihiro investigated the storage area
