Chapter 3 - Investigation part 1

AN: Couldn't find any art of Chihiro and Imposter, so I decided to go with this instead. It was either this or a picture of  him and Byakuya, and I like Ryota better

Silence engulfed the room. Each of the 11 remaining students could not believe that the most composed but polite member of them was dead in front of them

Monokuma soon appeared, speaking

"Well well well! Seems like one of you sinned once again! Anyways, before you all proceed, I have an announcement to make! Byakuya's motive was: During the end of the trial, the Blackened's vote would count as 10 votes!!"

Taka was still shocked and confused

"So if Byakuya killed, he would basically be unbeatable?"

"CORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRECTAMUNDO! Anyway, he can't now, since he's dead, but I do have this Monokuma file for you to examine!"

Monokuma then handed him the file, which had the information about Byakuya's body they needed before leaving once again

Victim: Byakuya Togami

Cause of death: Sharp Force Trauma in the chest

Time of death: 11:30 PM

Other Information: No weapon present at the crime scene

Investigation start

Monokuma file 3 has been added to truth bullets

Once again, the remaining students spread out in groups. Chihiro, Taka, Mahiru, Rantaro, Ibuki, and Tenko stayed in the computer lab, while the remaining five, Nagito, Nekomaru, Hiyoko, Ryoma, and Sayaka would check the other rooms. As Chihiro looked around, he noticed all of the computers were off, and none had power. Looking around some more, he noticed Rantaro kneeling down, looking at Byakuya's body

"Rantaro? Did you find something?"

"I think so. I noticed something sticking out from under Byakuya's body. It has a strange material feel to it. I can't exactly tell what it is"

After talking to Rantaro, Chihiro saw Tenko and Mahiru looking at some equipment in the corner

"What are you two looking at?"

Mahiru turned to him

"Oh, hey Chihiro. We were both looking around and nothing a small bit of blood on this cart. We aren't sure what it means, but it might be important"

Looking back, he saw Ibuki hugging Byakuya's body, still sad over the loss of her friend, and decided not to bother her, turning his attention to Taka, who was looking at a fuse box on the wall

"Taka?"

"This fuse box seems to control the power for the entirety of wherever we are. there are switches labeled for each of the different rooms for the other floors, including two more floors it seems that we have yet to explore"

"Really? The entire building?"

"Yes, although, this one concerns me"

Taka pointed to the switch that was labeled "Weapons room"

"It seems to have been tampered with. I tried messing with it, but it won't budge. I was going to check on the others if they are there to see if anything went wrong"

"I could do it instead. I've talked to everyone else here, anyway"

"Are you sure? It will be my fault if anything bad happens to you"

"I promise I'll be fine, okay?"

"......................fine. Just please be careful"

Chihiro said his goodbye's to Taka and then made his way to the weapons room, where he found everyone else looking around the room

"Hey Everyone"

Nekomaru dashed up to him

"CHIHIRO. GREETINGS. ALL OF US HAVE BEEN LOOKING AROUND THE ROOM FOR CLUES. WE HAVE CHECKED ALL THE OTHER ROOMS, AND FOUND NOTHING OF INTREST. WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE?"

"I came here to warn you guys, because Taka and I found some tampering for the electricity for this room in the fuse box"

"TAMPERING? SOMEONE MESSED WITH THE ELECTRICITY FOR THIS ROOM?"

"Yes. I suggest we all try to figure out why and who, as well as what this mea-"

Before Chihiro could finish, the lights suddenly turned off, and gasps from everyone could be heard. Silence fell throughout the room, until suddenly, footsteps could be heard running around the room. Chihiro felt someone bump into him, and the sound of someone crashing into someone else

"ACK"

He couldn't tell who that grunt was from, but clearly they were hit by someone or something. Eventually, a new sound could be heard. the sound of something getting launched through the air, lodging into something. Eventually, the lights came back on, soon followed by the voice of Sayaka

"What happened? Is everyone okay?"

Chihiro responded, still rubbing his eyes

"I think so. I think someone got shoved by someone else or something. I also heard something get hi-"

As Chihiro's eyes adjusted to the room, his eyes fell on something new. Laying on the ground in a puddle of pink was................

The dead body of Nekomaru Nidai, with a harpoon stuck in his chest
