Chapter 3 - Investigation part 2

The five students all stared at the body in the middle of the room. Someone caused this, but it is not known who. All they knew was that it was one of them

Ding dong bing bong

A body has been discovered! Everyone, please make your way to the weapons lab, pronto!

Soon Tenko, Mahiru, Ibuki, Rantaro, and Taka each entered the room, and were shocked to find Nekomaru laying dead on the ground. Soon Monokuma entered as well

"Would you look at that! Someone decided that one body wasn't enough! Anyway, I have the file right here for you all!"

For the second time that day, Monokuma handed the group a Monokuma file for them to look over

Victim: Nekomaru Nidai

Cause of death: Sharp Force Trauma in the chest

Time of death: 10:45 AM

Other information: Was killed under the cover of darkness

"Also, one more thing. Nekomaru's motive was the ability to plant false evidence to cause mass confusion!"

Monokuma file 4 has been added to truth bullets

After giving Taka the rundown on what exactly happened, they decided that it would be best if everyone were to investigate in this room to get as much information as possible

"So what you are saying is that one of you that was in the room is the one who killed Nekomaru?"

"Yes. Nobody entered the room, as there wouldn't be enough time to do so, and we would see the light from outside, since the blackout was only here, right?"

"Correct. We did not experience any blackout, and I kept tack, and saw that everyone that was in that room was there the entire time"

"Well that brings our lists of suspects down considerably"

After the conversation with Taka, Chihiro decided to one by one, check on everyone in the room, starting with Sayaka, who was very shaken up

"Oh, h-hi Chihiro. Sorry, I just need a moment......"

"Okay then. Have all the time you need"

Sayaka took a deep breath and soon continued

"Before all that happened, Nagito and I were looking in this corner, and found these tarps"

Nagito walked over soon after

"Why are you bringing those up? They seem rather pointless and irrelevant to this case, right?"

"Possibly, but the reason I mention them is that one of them is missing"

This piqued Chihiro's interest

"Missing?"

"Yeah. It could be irrelevant, but I think it's notable enough to mention"

"Interesting"

Missing tarp has been added to truth bullets

After talking to them, Chihiro decided to talk to Ibuki next, who was currently looking around aimlessly

"Hi Ibuki. What are you doing?"

"Oh hey Chihiro! Ibuki was just looking around, not sure where any evidence is. Although, Ibuki was thinking about how after you left, us girls all went to the computer lab together"
