Chapter 2 - Investigation

Chihiro and Taka didn't know Kokichi very well. While they were still sad to see one of their new friends die at the hands of another, they didn't feel much of an attachment to either Kokichi or Angie. Sakura on the other hand, was their closest friend, as they knew her for much longer than the others, and Sayaka, while being in their same killing game, was very distant from the others. So when they found Sakura hanging by the ceiling, they couldn't help but break down. Taka kneeled in front of his fallen friend

"Sakura........................why you.................of everyone, you were perhaps the kindest and most inspirational. WHY WOULD SOMEONE TAKE AWAY YOUR LIFE!?"

Everyone else started coming in, and were all shocked in their own way as to how a giant such as Sakura could ever be killed by any of them. Nekomaru pounded his fists together in grief

"SAKURA! I WILL NOT FORGET OUR TRAINING SESSIONS TOGETHER!! YOU WERE A DEAR FRIEND TO ME!!"

After everyone payed their own respect, Monokuma appeared

"Well well well! Looks like one of you couldn't help yourselves! Anyway, here is the next Monokuma file! Get to investigating, chumps!"

Monokuma hen gave Taka the file and left

Victim: Sakura Ogami

Cause of death: Strangulation

Time of death: 12:00 AM

Other Information: No signs of struggle

After reading through the file, everyone decided to split up like before. Taka, Tenko, Rantaro, and Chihiro decided to search around the dojo area, while Sayaka, Mahiru, and Hiyoko went to the pool area, Ibuki, Nagito, and Ryoma checked the sauna, and Byakuya, Nekomaru and Miu checked the Nurses office. After looking around, Rantaro found a small ripped off note in the bag that was concealing Sakura

"hmm........what's this? A note. It's got a strange skeleton looking thing on it"

Tenko found another piece of evidence. A strange looking remote in a trash can.

"A remote? but it's busted."

Taka examined Sakura, and found a small bump on the back of her head

'Hey Chihiro, check this out"

"Hmm?"

"Sakura has this small bunp on the back of her head. It looks somewhat new. Could it be related?"

"Possibly. We shouldn't take any chances on it, so let's just keep note of it"

Back of Sakura's head added to truth bullets

"Hey Taka, mind if I go check on the other teams, see what they might have found?"

"Not at all. The three of us will stay here"

Chihiro then walked to the pool, and saw Sayaka, Mahiru, and Hiyoko standing around

"Hey guys. I guess you haven't found anything?"

Hiyoko of course made a snarky comment

"Well, duh! We wouldn't be standing here like morons if we found anything! That locker in the corner of the room won't budge, either!"
