YOUR POV
"Y/N?" I turn my head to the sound of a familiar deep voice that I'm pretty sure belonged to the one I just had a date with earlier. Looking up from the wincing person on the ground, I met two pitch black eyes that stare at me in surprise. His hair was styled up in a punk style like how he used to do it before. So that's why I found him familiar earlier. When I met him at the restaurant, he had his hair down.
"Shinichiro?" I accidentally said out loud. He blinked a few more times before finally snapping out of it. He dragged me out of the crowd and towards a little less crowded part of the place.
"What are you doing here? Why—" He asked but I blocked everything he's saying as I stare at him in disbelief.
"You... You're the leader of Black Dragon?" Of all people... him?? I never expected him to engage into such thing as he never really excels in his fighting skills. But to have him lead a gang?? What kind of coincidence shit is this?
"And you... you're a member of Higanbana?" He sounded so confused and shocked that he looked as if he can't believe it's really me he's holding right now. We only stared at each other for awhile, just getting lost in the moment. He blinked once again, snapping out of his thoughts as he run his hand across his hair in frustration while cursing under his breath. He turned to me once again with a concerned look on his face before taking hold of my arms once more. "Let's get out of here, Y/N. We can't—"
"No." I interrupted him and he looked at me, confusion written all over his face.
"What?"
"In case you're forgetting, we're in the middle of a gang fight." No matter what, he's still the one I'm supposed to fight tonight. I don't know what's gotten inside Tomoe's mind that he wanted me to fight this person but even when I'm not pleased by his decision, I can't really take back my agreement.
"Fuck the gang fight. Y/N you can't be here. It's not—it's not safe." Shinichiro looked at me worriedly. I hate this. The way he looks at me. I hate that I'm getting the same feeling as back then when I shouldn't even be. Raising my hand, I pushed him away from me.
"We are enemies tonight, Sano." As soon as I finished my sentence, he shouted.
"I don't care!" I flinched at the volume of his voice and he immediately looked at me apologetically. "I need to get you to safety. They won't let you off the hook if they found out you attacked me. So please, Y/N." His reaction looked too genuine for me to ignore his warning but I really can't back out anymore from what was already planned.
"Who?"
"My gang." He whispered and I raised an eyebrow at him.
"So? Fight me." If he fights me then they wouldn't think that this fight is one sided. I don't want to fight this man. It would lead me to something else. I often take out my frustration to the person I'm beating up and God knows how many people I've sent to the hospital in doing so. And the thought of fighting Shinichiro... I don't want it to happen. Sure, we're not in good terms but he's still the same person I cared for.
"I am NOT fighting you, Y/N." He glared at me. Before I could open my mouth to try to convince him otherwise, I heard a loud scream from behind him. I immediately caught glimpse of a member of ours with a steel tube raised on air, ready to swing it at the person in front of me. My eyes shifted back to Shinichiro's black ones.
"Too late." I pushed him harshly before swiftly landing my foot on the right side of his head causing him to stumble on the ground as he was caught off guard by my sudden move. Before the guy could fully swing the steel tube, I took hold of the weapon and snatched it away from him then point it dangerously close to Shinichiro's neck. He groaned as he clutch onto his head. Did I kick him too hard? But if I didn't do it, either I might be in a difficult situation with the Higanbana as a suspect traitor or worse, him getting hit successfully by this thick and heavy tube which I don't know where a member of ours got from. "Playing a dirty little trick on me huh, leader of the Black Dragon?" I played out as the guy that I can't even remember the name asked me.
"Y/N, are you alright?!"
"Were you sent to fight him?" I asked in a cold voice and I saw him stiffened at the corner of my eye and he looked down.
"N-No."
"Then, why meddle with my business?" I never liked it when people try to butt in my own fight but this time, my mind is only thinking if what could've happened if he really did manage to take a hit. It pissed me off that this guy just tried a dangerous stunt.
He quickly apologized and turned back to the others who continued to fight. My eyes went back to raven haired man who sat on the ground as he stare at me with a look of surprise and confusion.
"Get away from me, Sano." I told him as I throw the tube away to the far corner in hopes that no one will be able to pick it up during the fight. "I'm told to deal with you. I don't like bringing personal issues to a task assigned to me in gangs and businesses and so I wouldn't think twice to attack you again." I turned my back at him and started walking away. I wouldn't want to fight him. Not this way.
"I am not leaving you here." I stopped at his words before I continued walking.
"I don't need you to accompany me either."
He didn't try to catch up to me anymore. Or so I thought as suddenly, a fist was headed my way and I quickly block the attack with a click of a tongue.
"You're facing me, brat!!" I eyed the man in front of me.
He is much bigger than me and well built at that as he look at me with a bloodlust look on his face. I chuckled and tried to provoke him more. His punch was seriously strong that I felt my arm go limp for a moment there. This guy wouldn't be so bad at fights. He doesn't even look like he holds back just because I'm of the opposite sex. However, before we could clash fists with each other, Shinichiro's voice had him frozen in place.
"BENKEI NO!!" I frowned seeing as he did stop at his leader's orders. I glare at Shinichiro who panted as blood stained the right side of his forehead and I can't help but feel bad for kicking him too hard at that part. But this time, I gritted my teeth as I walk up to him through the mess around us.
He gulped as he watched me near him. Without another word, I ran up to him with my fist raised, ready to hit him directly.
"I told you I'll attack you, didn't I?" I really need to prove him that I stick to my own words.
But before I could even land a hit, something sharp was felt on the side of my neck and I felt my body weakening in an instant. My vision had started to blur and the sounds of everyone fighting around me were echoing like hell in my ears. As darkness enveloped me, my body had fallen limply forward to the man I was about to attack a second ago.
