Bonus Chapter

3RD PERSON'S POV

"Yo, what's up with you? You look down today." The blue haired girl approached her sulking friend in the corner who kept her gaze outside of the window. As she took a seat in front of her, Y/N looked at her with sad and doubting eyes before asking.

"Rika... am I getting ugly?" Rika almost spat out her drink at her friend's sudden question. Never once have she heard her commenting something bad about her own appearance so hearing her ask such question is so new to her.

"Woah girl, chill. What's with that question?" She asked, wiping her lips with a tissue. Y/N on the other hand, let out a heavy sigh before looking down at her palms resting on her lap.

"I just..." She trailed off, not knowing how to start. At this, her blunette friend sighed and answered her question.

"No, you're never ugly. What made you think that?" She leaned back on her seat and stare at her worried-looking friend. The girl remained silent, still finding the words to start sharing her thoughts. "Why? Is this about you and Shinichiro?" Rika raised a brow, finding the situation unusual when the two were always in their best terms. Even when they get into fights, they would eventually make up in a short period of time. When her friend didn't answer, she nodded her head slowly, finally having an idea of the situation. "Ahhhh. So he's the reason why you've been so emotional the past days. Go on, tell me."

"It's just that... he's been really cold to me these days." Y/N fiddled with her thumbs, thinking back to the times she felt like her lover was being distant to her which had been repetitive since this week.

"Why do you say so?"

"In our previous dates, he doesn't even act like himself. Everytime we're spending time alone, he keeps making excuses to go somewhere. It feels like he doesn't want to be with me." Her voice was low and silent as if she's scared to tell her friend her thoughts. "I don't know what I did wrong. He can't even look at me in the eye when I try to ask him about it." Her heart broke when she recalled the time Shinichiro avoided her question. It made her overthink things yet she couldn't find the real reason behind his weird behaviour. She's definitely aware though of how much it's hurting her.

She can't help but think that maybe the guy was starting to fall out of love for her, considering they've been together for about three years now. She was sure three years is a long time and it's enough for one to change their mind about their love. And this thought alone made her scared.

"Are you doubting him?" At Rika's question, Y/N's E/C eyes widened in realization.

"N-No... maybe... I don't know." She nervously responded, not knowing the real answer to the question. It's not like she wanted to doubt him anyway. It was his actions that made her think such things and it hurts her that she's thinking of him in that way after all they've been through together.

However, it's not like she can avoid it either.

Seeing the depressed behaviour of her friend, Rika leaned forward and tapped her cheek.

"I don't know what's gotten into him lately but trust me, he loves you truly." She said with a smile. She knows that there must be something on why the two are like this. She can't even imagine that Shinichiro is going to leave her bestfriend when she witnessed how much the two love each other. "Anyone can see it. Maybe you just don't catch him at the right time. But everyone can see how much he loves you, Y/N. Remember that there are challenges in a relationship. There is no perfect relationship so it's only normal to feel that way sometimes." She tried to lighten up her mood, reminding her of the man's affection for her.

"I'm scared, Rika. What if what happened in my dreams will become my reality?" She bit her lip, feeling her emotions kick in once again as she can feel the tears stinging her eyes. "We kept separating in my dreams before... I don't want that to happen." After years, it's only now that she felt the intense fear of her previous dreams about losing him in different ways. She can't help but feel anxious in every little thing.
