Too much has happened all too fast for Jamie.
He got his own dragon egg.
He learned how to read and write again.
He learned about the Dragon Seekers.
And he learned about Jasmine being a Dragon Seeker.
Jamie was so consumed by everything that he barely ate dinner. He was shown his room which inhabits a bathroom as well. A large bedroom with a king sized bed, a small desk and a walk in wardrobe. The walls were white with painted dragons and the islands were painted on the ceiling. There was also a small balcony for Jamie to stand on. The two windows reached from the ceiling to the floor with shimmering, silver patterned white curtains.
It was a nice room, but Jamie couldn't bring himself to admire it. He felt too exhausted. He had a long needed bath, washing away all the sweat and dirt that he had accumulated. He felt too relaxed until the water went stone cold. When he changed into a set of crisp clean pyjamas, he noticed that all of his clothes were gone. Only the boots that Ash gave him remained. He'll need to give those and the jacket she gave him back when he gets the chance.
Shaking that off for a moment, Jamie found himself on the balcony. He shivered a little as the night air hit him. Beyond the grounds, were the lights from all the crystals in Central Isle. They were slightly dimmer now, allowing Jamie to see the stars and the moon. He occasionally saw dragons flying in the sky, either arriving or going home.
Jamie was starting to contemplate something. He wanted to go home, but could he really call it "home" anymore? After all, this was the world that Jasmine was born in. If things were normal (whatever normal was anymore), Jamie would've been born here too. So does he go back to the place that he knew as home? Or does he bring Jasmine back to her home?
This was starting to confuse him, despite it being so simple!
Jamie sighed deeply. He was thinking too much into this. He needs to think of something else, or nothing at all. That's when he felt air brush against his skin. Funny. There wasn't a breeze just now. There was also the presence of someone being there.
Jamie turned around, almost jumping as he realised that he indeed wasn't alone anymore. A couple of ft from him, a girl stood up straight after crouching down. She had pale, smooth skin that almost reminded Jamie of porcelain. Her dress was long and reminded Jamie of a tunic from Ancient Greece. It came in different shades of purple that gave the illusion that it changed colour. Hanging from her neck was a small necklace with a charm of a yellow star. She had violet eyes. Or eye, as her fringe perfectly covered her left eye. Her long hair was purple, which, like her dress, came in different shades of said colour.
There was something quite strange about her. There was no wind, but her hair looked like it was flowing, almost floating in mid air. And when she moved closer to Jamie, she was more like gliding above the ground than walking. Her bare feet didn't even seem to touch the ground.
"Hello Jamie," the girl smiled, her voice airy and light.
"How did you know my name?" Jamie asked, too surprised to ask anything else.
"I know a bit more than that. I'm Dreama," the girl giggled. She floated a little as she sat down on the balcony's stone railing. Jaime stood next to her, feeling the air current around her. Dreama looked out at the grounds and city, her hair continuing to flow as she turned her head. "I miss being down here. I should visit more often."
Down here?
Dreama must have come from the island in the sky that he saw on the map. Maybe that explains the air current around her too. Just when Jamie thinks that he's seen it all, this world keeps surprising him. He almost felt like a little kid that gets excited over the smallest of things. He was almost ashamed of it. Dreama didn't seem to take much notice as she continued to watch the world around the house. She seemed to be allured by it in a way.
