The next morning there were more than a few sore heads from hangovers but we couldn't let that stop us since we had to get to the grand magic games.
"It's day two of the grand magic games and the stands are exploding with excitement" Chapati Lola said once we were all settled and ready for what the day would throw at us.
"Joining me once again is Mr Yajima and our new special guest Sorcerer Weekly's, Jason," He introduced.
"So cool!" Jason yelled.
"Let's get back to the action as our wizards take on the chariots. The point of this game is to reach the final goal without falling off, simple right? Wrong! The chariots are constantly in motion and though it's at a snail's pace, no false move could cost you. Which team will survive this rough and tumble sightseeing tour through Crocus and be the first to cross the finish line" Chapati Lola explained.
"Hey Lucy" Gray said with a sweatdrop and I sighed.
"I know, Natsu volunteered without even hearing what the game was and he was so excited that I couldn't tell him otherwise" I said while looking at Natsu on the screen that showed his motion sickness.
"I don't think anyone could have stopped him, let this be a lesson to him so that he will start thinking before acting" Midnight said while laying his head on my shoulder and drifting off.
"For those of you with us here we'll be showing the race in crystal clear lacrima vision" Chapati Lola said.
"Cool!" Jason yelled.
"You've seen a lot in your days but would you have predicted anything remotely like this?" Chapati Lola questioned Yajima.
"Well...." Yajima replied but didn't say anything else.
"I still can't believe Natsu insisted on being the one to complete the challenge. He should have chosen someone else once he heard the name" Erza sighed.
"Uh oh, looks like fairy tail team A's Natsu can barely put one foot in front of the other. But that's not all mere feet away are Fairy tail team B's Gajeel and Sabertooth's Sting, who seems to be in the same boat" Chapati Lola said.
"Wait Gajeel as well?" Gray asked.
"I can't imagine what can be causing them to slow down like this" Chapati Lola said.
"I could be wrong but I say they share a common weakness from moving vehicles" Yajima said and I chuckled a little. Seems like all of the Dragon slayers now had motion sickness.
"Does that mean that Cobra gets motion sickness as well?" Erza enquired.
"Don't let him know that you know but he does" Midnight mumbled.

"Now let's have a look at the group that's leading the pack, this race is as neck and neck as it gets folks" Chapati Lola announced as the screens changed.
"At the front is Black Snake from Raven Tail, followed closely by Blue pegasus's Ichiya, Lamia Scale's Yuka, Mermaid Heel's Lesly" He continued.
"Coming in behind them is Quatro Cerberus's reserve member Baccus" Chapati Lola said and I giggled. Looks like the hangover from last night was still hitting him. Yuka then used his wave magic to boost himself forward as well as not letting anyone else use magic so long as they were in his waves. Of course that didn't stop Lesly as she used gravity magic to run along the side of the chariots. Ichiya then started to smell his perfume that made Erza shiver. On the other hand I was focused on Baccus who was lifting his leg and completely crashed the chariots.
"I don't believe it, Baccus demolished the chariots with brute force" Chapati Lola said.
"Amazing, he's even stronger than before," Erza said.
"Everyone has gotten a lot stronger since you guys were gone so you shouldn't underestimate anyone" I warned. Baccus then took off running easily over taking everyone else.
"Wait a minute what happened to Lesly?" Chapati Lola asked.
"A gravity change, so cool" Jason yelled. Baccus of course came in first getting ten points, next was Black Snake, Lesly, Yuka and Ichiya. All that was left was Natsu, Gajeel and Sting, this could take a while.

Gajeel then shoved Natsu and Sting but all his strength was gone so it barely did anything. I could already tell that all the Dragon slayers that were on the chariots were glad that they weren't down there. Even though they were suffering from motion sickness Natsu and Gajeel were still putting 100% into winning.
"Talk about uncool, anyone can see you got no strength left you're just making fools of yourselves" Sting insulted but they kept fighting and I clenched my hands in front of my chest.
"Fine whatever, I didn't need this win so I'll just let you guys have it. Sabertooth's just going to keep racking up the points after this, in the end one point isn't going to change the outcome" Sting huffed while looking sick.
"One point is nothing to scoff at kid, don't you forget that" Gajeel said while he and Natsu double their efforts.
"I don't get it, can you explain something to me?" Sting asked, gaining Natsu and Gajeel's attention.
"Why do you even bother entering the tournament, seriously. I mean you're nothing like the fairy tail I knew growing up, you're obsessed with how tough you look and what the rest of the world thinks of you. What happened to the fairy tail of my childhood? The guild that did whatever the hell it wanted, whenever it wanted? They never cared what everyone else said or thought of them" Sting questioned. It was my fault, it was my fault that Fairy Tail changed. It was because I failed to be a good master that could bring in my members, that could lift everyone's spirits with a single hand sign. Tears glistened in my eyes as my fringe covered them and my whole body shook.
"The reason we're here is for our friends! The ones who waited for us, for all the years we were gone, who fought threw the pain and heartache. They were humiliated but even so they stayed strong and they kept our guild together. More importantly, we're doing this for her. For Lucy who kept our guild running, who kept our friends spirits high even when it nearly cost her life. She did everything she could to give people a place to go if they needed help and she helped anyone that ever came to her. Lucy was the strongest Master that Fairy tail has ever had and we won't let anyone look down on her or the guild. We're doing this for them and we're going to make sure everyone knows that the Fairy Tail guild never gave up, not for an instant so there's no way I'm gonna give up now" Natsu roared out.

Tears streamed down my face and I couldn't help but sob as I covered my face with my hands. I was so happy that I couldn't help but cry, they didn't blame me for what happened to the guild. I felt arms around me and saw Loke in front of me, his own tears on his face as he held me as I broke down crying.
"He did it, Fairy Tail team A's Natsu bags sixth place and scores two points. Gajeel takes seventh places and gets one point" Chapati Lola announced. I didn't care about the crowd changing their minds or not as I turned and ran down the stairs to go and meet Natsu. As I was running I saw Sting and had to dodge him but didn't care since Natsu was standing there.
"Natsu," I cried, throwing myself at him, not caring that both Gajeel and Sting were watching.
"Luce, I got us two points" Natsu grinned and I sobbed again burying my head into his vest that was so much like the one I was wearing.
"I-I-Idiot" I stuttered out trying to stop myself from crying as it started to get harder to breathe. That's when Natsu wrapped his arms around me.
"You can stop blaming yourself Lucy, I know it must have been hard. Hearing for seven years that it was your fault that we were trapped on the island, that it was your fault that Fairy tail fell but it's not true. Gray and I made the choice to save you Lucy and in turn you kept our friends and home together so we had somewhere to come home to" Natsu said while rubbing my back.
"Listen to the Salamander, Bunny-girl. It's time to stop blaming yourself for what happened" Gajeel said as he crouched down and helped Natsu calm me down. Unseen to us Sting was standing there a little shocked before he shook his head and walked off with a frown.
"All this time she has been blaming herself, yet she is still so strong to have held it in this long" Sting whispered before going to meet up with the other Sabertooth members.

After finally calming down I took Natsu to the infirmary and checked on Wendy, who was doing well, before heading back to the arena. For the first match it was Toby against Black Snake. I already knew that was going to happen, no matter how much stronger Toby had gotten he wasn't strong enough to beat a member of Raven Tail. It was no surprise when Black Snake was announced as the winner.
"Very impressive," Erza said.
"No doubt and I get the impression that he was holding back" Gray said.
"We should be careful around the Raven's, they are strong" Midnight yawned before glaring. Toby then revealed that his secret was that he had lost his sock that he couldn't find. Of course the sock was around Toby's neck and I glared as Black Snake ripped the sock up making Gray and I have to hold Erza back.
"As black hearted as his name suggested" I growled. For now all I could do was bide my time and wait but I will bring Raven Tail to its knees one day.

"Next we have Baccus from Quatro Cerberus vs Team Fairy Tail A, Midnight" Chapati Lola said and I looked at Midnight.
"Well good luck" I said and he looked at me and I looked back. Quickly he lent down and kissed me before heading to the arena. I should have known he wanted a good luck kiss, these people were going to be the death of me.
"Hey what do you say we make our own bet? Like those last guys did?" Baccus grinned.
"What bet?" Midnight asked.
"Well Lucy is pretty smoke hot" Baccus said and even from up here I could see the tick mark that Midnight had.
"Your point?" Midnight demanded.
"Come on man, I know you can't be that dense. If I win the match, she keeps me company tonight" Baccus challenged.
"Now it's your turn, if you win" Baccus started.
"You'll figure out what I want once I've beaten you into the ground" Midnight said with a fierce glare.
"Remember, no killing allowed" I yelled out and Midnight pouted.
"Lulu is right, I can't kill you so I will have to just beat you until you regret your filthy words about MY Lulu," Midnight glared. Instantly Baccus was caught up in Midnight's nightmare magic. That of course was only effective for a little bit but that was enough for Midnight to get behind Baccus and put him in a choke hold.
"Go ahead and use your magic on the palm of your hands but remember, I have the ability to reflect magic so who knows what will happen to your arms," Midnight warned while Baccus struggled. He threw himself down on the ground to shake him off but Midnight held on until Baccus passed out.
"Now that I won, you and your guild will call themselves Quatro Puppy" Midnight grinned. As soon as he rejoined us he wrapped his arms around me and clung to me. Seems even the thought of losing me did a number on him.
"There, there, I'm not going anywhere" I whispered as I hugged him back. There were a few more matches to watch and I could only hope that the crowd's favour stuck with fairy tail for a while longer.
