Lucy's POV, four months later

It had been four months since I had met with Zeref and I was still getting whispers about Tartaros rising. Master had kept his word, encouraging the others to train more by hosting different tournaments each weekend. They were also taking more and more missions so they were getting strong and I couldn't be happier. I know that it was bad to think but they were finally getting stronger so I didn't have to worry as much about them.
"Hey Blondie, where's your head at?" Sting asked and I turned to them. Rogue and Sting had come to visit once again and I was with them at a cafe having coffee and sweets. Lector and Frosch were having an exceed sleepover at the guild hall with the rest of the exceeds.
"Sorry, just thinking about everything that had been happening" I smiled.
"I noticed that you have changed your hair lately, it looks lovely" Rogue complimented and I blushed. I had been having my hair pulled into nine plaits with my hair clips like when I went to see Zeref.
"Thank you, I have my hair like this when I'm not on a mission or fighting, though I don't think that I'll be able to have this hair style for much longer" I sighed. I was starting to get more and more worried as more rumors were getting back to me.
"You're talking about Tartaros right?" Sting enquired and I jumped looking at them. I'd been whispering so I hadn't thought that they had heard.
"How do you guys know about that?" I asked.
"Makarov told us about it, well he told me about it and I told Rogue since he is helping me with running the guild" Sting said.
"He contacted all of the guild masters with a warning about the dark guild Tartaros. Makarov wanted to make sure that all of us were ready" Rogue explained. I looked down at my cup and gently traced the top of the cup.
"I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't matter how strong we are. Tartaros isn't a guild that we can beat by being stronger, the people in the guild aren't like us. At least now that everyone has been training they have a chance to survive" I said as I picked my cup up and took a drink.
"You know you don't have to face this alone right?" Sting enquired.
"I know, but enough about all that. We are meant to be enjoying our time together. I have a place that you guys are going to love once we finish here" I smiled and they nodded. We quickly finished at the cafe before they followed me. I took them to a park, it wasn't the park that I had been going to with Natsu, this was a different one. It was known for its beautiful ponds that housed not only ducks, swans and geese but also koi fish. It was beautiful and they had a pond that was free of animals that people were allowed to swim in so Rogue and Sting realised why I told them to bring swimsuits. We spent the afternoon swimming and splashing each other before heading back to my apartment.

"Are you sure that this is okay? I mean to stay here, we don't want to overstep any boundaries" Rogue said as he came out of the bathroom with no shirt and drying his hair with a shower. I couldn't help but blush and stare since he had a six pack and he was handsome.
"I-It's fine. The others always crash here so it's fine. You should see what happens when Gajeel, Laxus and Jellal all try to sleep over" I giggled and I could have sworn that I heard Rogue chuckle which made me smile bigger.
"Ah hold still for a moment" Rogue said as he leant forward. I gulped and held my breath as he got closer before his hand went up to my hair and gently grabbed something.
"Sorry, there was a leaf," Rogue said as he showed me the leaf. Blushing I couldn't believe myself, did I really just get happy and excited over nothing?
"Lucy," Rogue said and I turned to him. This time when he lent forward he gently grabbed my chin and moved it up before gently kissing me. Rogue gently pressed me back into the bed and continued to kiss me. The kiss was getting heavier and I reached up wrapping my hands around his neck to pull him closer.
"Hmhm, having fun there?" A voice enquired. Rogue scrambled away and I held my breath as I turned to see who it was. Turns out it was Sting leaning against the door frame as he had just gotten out of the shower.
"Please don't stop on my account though you could at least let me join" Sting winked.
"Sting!" Rogue exclaimed, blushing enough for both of us. I couldn't help but burst into laughter at the top of them.
"What do you think you're laughing about?" Sting asked.
"I think that we should give you a bit of a punishment" Rogue smirked and my eyes went wide as the other two got closer. Thankfully I was saved from whatever they had planned when my lacrima started to ring.
"Saved by the call," Sting said as I jumped up and grabbed the orb.
"I'll take this outside so don't worry. One I'm finished I'll get started on dinner" I said.
"Don't worry about it, I'll get started on it while you're gone and I'll try and get Sting to help" Rogue said and I nodded.
