The blood was wiped off with her own hand, together with the fabric of her sleeve. It was surprisingly torn, leaving one of Kallumi's sleeves to be left ruined.
Kallumi was close to Uvogin, letting him hold her dainty hand to stop it from twitching. It was an effective way to put a stop to Kallumi's helpless twitching.
Caressing Kallumi's hand with his thumb, Uvogin continued to chat with the other phantom members. Kallumi was left in a daze.
She couldn't speak because of what had happened a while ago, also being hungry only made it worse. She closed her eyes and laid her head on Uvogin's arm.
But a sudden cold sensation was what she felt before her eyes widened when she was lifted upwards in the air, together with Uvogin.
Now, she was in a car, still in the chains of one of the people in the car. One on the left, front seat was staring at Kallumi with nervousness.
She was in the middle of the back seat, and her mouth was wrapped with tape, thanks to the unknown man on her other side.
"Hey, driver..." Uvogin called out, holding a smirk even if he was chained up. Kallumi eyed him, but her eyes averted to the man on her side.
Her eyes were slowly turning red, and the man could feel the intent stare of Kallumi. He let out a confused sound when his hand started to move on its own, preparing to land a hit on the person on the front seat.
"H-hey, Kurapika!" The name shocked Kallumi, causing his arm to stop moving, but she continued it no further.
Uvogin smirked at this, but it wasn't long when the man hit her on the head. It was quite a hard hit, so it didn't take long when her eyes rolled up and hit her head on the seat.
Kurapika noticed this and gave the man a small glare, "Hey, don't hurt her..." The man let out another confused noise but didn't ask Kurapika.
The chain slowly lingered out of Kallumi's body, leaving her unconscious body to lay limp in the middle of the two men. Even Uvogin glared at the man.
Kurapika eyed Kallumi before his eyes focused on the road, causing Uvogin to give him a look.
"You and Kallumi are close, aren't you?" He started, "Or are you just planning to use her?"
"Shut up..."
Uvogin disobeyed quickly and continued to Speak, ticking the clock before Kurapika would burst.
Many things lingered in Kurapika's mind, and now that he finally met Kallumi, numerous questions started to erupt.
Who was she, really?
