We have been running for hours, and I was starting to get exhausted so I ended up levitating myself.
'We've reached the eighty-kilometer mark. It is now time to pick up the pace a bit.' Satotz thought
"That guy's insane"
"He's prancing up the stairs as if they're not even there"
'If he keeps up this pace, tons of people will fail...'
"Gon, F/n wanna race to see who finishes first?" killua announced.
"Sure, the loser has to buy dinner." Gon said
"You guys go ahead, I'm gonna go talk to Satotz-san"
"How? You cant keep up with him" Killua said
"Yes I can," I said going past them.
The applicants saw me going to Satotz, they were surprised as to why a mere kid like me can keep up with Satotz.
"Ne, Satotz-san how does it feel having no mouth?" I carefully said trying not to make him offended.
Satotz got startled as he saw me floating beside him
"is that an insult?" Satotz said looking at me quite offended.
"no, it's a genuine question, it's ok if you don't want to say it," I said softly trying not to make him angry. "Hmmm. well, I can't say the reason tho.." Satotz said.
As the conversation ended She went back to Gon and Killua .
"Hello again" she said startling the boys.
"Oh f/n! You're here!"Gon said smiling.
"hmmm.." Killua simply said.
"I'll join your run." I said
The boys smiled.
We then started running seeing who wins first.
"I'm impressed that you guys can keep up with me " killua said.
'Only my twin can keep up with me' Killua thought smiling sadly.
"Really?" Gon said.
"Or maybe its just that everyone else is too slow..." killua deadpanned.
"Ne, Killua why do you wanna be a hunter?" Gon asked.
"Me? i'm not really interested in becoming a hunter."
"Huh?" Gon questioned.
"I heard the exam was supposed to be really hard, so i thought it'd be fun. But this is disappointing, what about you?"
"Well, my dad's a hunter so i want to become a hunter, like my dad." Gon said.
"Hmm...What kind of hunter is he?" Killua asked.
" I dont know."
"Thats kinda weird" kallumi said
"Why?"
" Well you want to be like your dad but you don't know what type of hunter he is...." Kallumi said.
"I was raised by Mito-san, so iv'e only seen my dad in pictures."
"Who's mito-san?" Killua asked
"Aunt Mito" Gon responded, me and Killua both gave an "oh"
"When he was twelve my dad took the hunter exam..He passed and became a hunter, then he left the island..I want to find out why he chose to be a hunter over being with me."
I just gave him a sad look, Before I saw the exit.
the exit, finally!
she smiled ready to see the exit..
the trio raced...
"GOAL!"
