Laying gently on his lap, sleeping as he caresses her hair ever so gently, in a manner that Kallumi would collapse if he isn't careful.
Kurapika was getting nostalgic over the memories that played on his mind, those times when he would let Kallumi lay on his lap as they both read a book, soon being the only one awake once Kallumi falls asleep.
"I'm sorry... if we left on bad terms."
Kallumi was the one at fault, but even if Kurapika did knew, he didn't have the heart to blame the girl.
The girl he comes to be fond off. She was like a little sister he never had, someone he didn't mind being an older brother to. If he could say it, having the part as her older brother figure seems to be a great role to have.
Kallumi was still unconcious, so Kurapika softly placed her head on the couch, walking out of the door after one last look.
I hope... You don't hate me once you see me again.
Coming back to the room Uvogin was kept in, he could feel the menacing aura Uvogin was emitting.
"Where's Kallumi?"
"That's none of your business."
"Well, it is my business." Uvogin tugged the corner of his lips, staring at Kurapika with a glare, "She's my family after all, not to mention my favorite."
He said it almost proudly that the people in the room could guess he takes great pride in Kallumi, something that they found quite interesting. From how one strong spider could say she was his favorite, she must be a very important person in the troupe.
"You know..." He paused, staring at Kurapika ever so intensely, "I saw that look in your eyes, like you're happy to see her. You know her, don't you?"
"It doesn't matter to you, so just shut up." Kurapika spat.
"Fine... Just release her then." Uvogin had a dominant aura, even when he was cuffed, unable to move, he could still manage to scare them with just his stare.
