When Tsuna awoke, he felt light, lighter than he'd ever felt before, within his memory of course. Breathing was easy, there was no heavy weight digging into his chest. The taste of blood was absent. The sky glanced around, his friends and Ie were huddled around him, Reborn was sitting in a hammock. Honey blinked, noticing Leon. The chameleon had emerged from his cocoon! Leon was perched contentedly on the hitman's fedora.

Reborn smirked at the other's reaction to Leon. Focusing on Leon was preferable to Tsuna focusing on the other Ieyoshi's death "Leon made you a gift Tsuna" He was grateful that his faithful partner would be able to deliver said gift to the recipient.

'Leon doesn't make things for other people all that often'

Tsuna perked up as Leon leapt from Reborn's fedora to his knee "Hi Leon" He gently pet the reptile's head, earning himself a few friendly licks on his fingers. Leon grew, deposited a box from his mouth, then shrunk back to his normal size. Tsuna smiled "Thank you" He opened the box, it contained a knife. It was a simple knife, one that you'd see in any old kitchen. He eyed the knife curiously "Since it's from Leon, I'm guessing that it's more than a simple steak knife?" Steak knives were still dangerous, but Leon was a special magical reptile so it couldn't possibly be a steak knife.

The hitman nodded "It's true form will come out with your flames"

'Hopefully the knife will work as a good catalyst for his flames'

Humming, Tsuna slowly began to push some of his flames into it, grinning when the action felt easier than what he'd been expecting. The steak knife glowed, and the blade lengthened to 5 inches and thickened to an inch near the leather handle. The tip was slightly curved. It looked a lot better than a steak knife "Thank you so much Leon" Tsuna stopped his flames, allowing the knife to de-transform as he picked Leon up and nuzzled him "You saw how I was struggling so you found a way to help me" It was sweet, Leon was such a sweet chameleon.

Nezumi let out an affronted squeak, teeth chattering at the reptile. Waking up to Leon being praised wasn't the best way to wake up.

Tsuna laughed, petting Nezumi's head and scratching behind the ears "You're still my partner Nezumi"

Byakuran blinked, head more clear than it had been in a long time. He glanced down at his shiny Mare ring, a sad frown tugging at his lips. He now understood why his abilities had been halted and his memory fuzzy. If he'd known, he'd have interfered, and maybe even make things worse. Byakuran let out a sigh "That Ie-chan was gone, the only Ie-chan left was the one he'd yet to meet"

'The first time we all tried to kill each other, the second time we became friends, then Tsu-chan died and Ie-chan destroyed everything to fix it'

That world that no longer existed, it had been nice before Ie's fall. Being killed by Ie had hurt, but that wasn't him, not really. This world was his current world, he could befriend them again, and this time Tsuna wouldn't die, so Ie wasn't going to destroy the world, again. Byakuran hummed, he couldn't see the other worlds, only the one that'd been destroyed- the one that had their first and second try. His ring was supposed to be dormant, so had Ie's world hopping changed that?

"You're making some pretty scary faces..." Shoichi breathed, holding his stomach nervously.

Byakuran blinked before grinning "I just remembered some friends that I have yet to properly meet!"

'Third time's the charm!'

Shoichi's stomach turned causing him to grimace "Have yet to meet?" Oh no, he had a bad feeling about this.

Nodding, Byakuran tore open a bag of marshmallows "Yup, we're all going to have so much fun together!"

'I befriended them once, I can do it again! Tsu-chan won't be able to scare me away now that I know him'

"Hey Tsuna, what are we going to do next?" Ie inquired, everyone had finally gone home. So it was just Fon who was still visiting.

'The main goal has been to stop his death...'

Honey gleamed "I'm going to focus on school, eventually get a job and live a normal life"

Ie frowned "Is a normal life even possible?"

Tsuna shrugged "I'm done with the mafia, I'll kill anyone who tries to stop me from leaving. So we'll probably still have to fight a lot, but that's become normal for us anyways" Everyone's definition of normal was different.

"Okay" That made more sense. Ie eyed Reborn "And you're just staying? Aren't you an important hitman or something?"

'The thought of focusing on normal things just seems so strange to me'

Reborn smirked "I do what I want, they'll have to answer to both Leon and I if they have any arguments" Very few would dare to oppose him "Though I might take some contracts off and on if they appeal to me" He had a lot of money already stored up.

"I like Namimori, I don't want to ever leave. The roofs are ideal for prowling" Tsuna added. How great would it be to prowl without sickness slowing him down?

'... I don't know what to say to that'

"There's still a lot that needs to be done, but it's just paperwork and stuff" Reborn gave Leon a few pets.

"I haven't helped Kyoya with his paperwork in a long time..." Tsuna mused "I should go help him, and fix my attendance" To live a normal and proper life, he should graduate high school in order to get a good legal job.

Ie eyed Tsuna curiously, his brother was more animated than usual. It was strange, but also a good thing. He would have to get used to Tsuna having more energy, which wasn't a bad thing.

'My brother gets to live, and have a future'

"School will also help you to bond more with your friends" Reborn added. His sky wouldn't be too sick to bond with his other elements. It was better for Tsuna's health if they bonded.

"It will be interesting..." Honey softened "I'll be a better friend to them"

Me: I grew sick of this around chapter 70, I'm not really in this fandom anymore but I at least wrote a decent ending that wasn't a cliff hanger.

Maybe one day I'll get back into KHR, but I'm currently obsessed with DC/MK, Detective Conan and Magic Kaito, two different anime/manga written by the same person within the same universe. The crossovers are my favourite and there's so many different fanfics for it >~<
