"I'm back"

Reborn glanced over, spotting Tsuna standing near the bedroom window. The teen must have snuck through when he'd looked away "You look horrible" He really did, Tsuna's skin tone was a lot paler than it normally was and the dark bags under his eyes weren't doing him any favours.

'Shouldn't the Vindice have better health care methods? It would look bad if their prisoners died so they should at least have decent medical care...'

Tsuna let out a small laugh as he made his way over towards the bed "I happen to look a lot better than I did a few hours ago" He replied, curling up on his bed to hug his pillow. He didn't like being in the Vendicare prison, the atmosphere always felt wrong and usually made him feel sick.

The hitman eyed the other curiously, Tsuna had been gone for a few days so the teen's words were worrying "Why did you use so much flames?" He wanted to hear the answer for himself rather than guess since Tsuna could be so unpredictable at times "Did you really think that you'd be able to handle having your core empty?"

'An empty core normally means death for flame users... So maybe it's not all that strange that Tsuna still looks horrible'

"I thought that it would be fine" Tsuna tucked his pillow under his chin, a small pout on his lips "I figured that getting used to only having a bit of flames would help me learn how to control small amounts better" There was no need to mention that the idea had been Kyoya's, the skylark was probably frustrated to hell with himself anyways. He'd also thought that it'd been a good idea after hearing it, so that was another reason not to mention his cloud.

Reborn clicked his tongue "While in theory it sounds like a good idea, you should have known better than to use up all of your flames" While annoying, he was relieved that the action hadn't been intentionally self destructive "I guess that I'm going to have to educate you on the very basics of dying will flames" He didn't want another avoidable accident to happen.

'Unlike most users, Tsuna wasn't born and raised by mafia standards. I should have checked what he knew instead of figuring that he already knew the basics'

"That sounds like a good idea" Tsuna agreed, making himself swallow to prevent blood from staining his pillow. His chest felt too heavy, he was going to have to get up and force himself to hack out all the blood soon. The sky morbidly wondered if he could make a blood bubble like one could with spit for a moment before shaking the thought away. That was just wrong.

"The Vindice are terrible with medicine" Reborn had been ignoring how he could hear the other's watery breaths, until now. He hopped onto the bed, glancing at Tsuna in askance, touching the teen's arm when he received an affirming nod "With how large their group is, one would think that they'd know not to let you move in your condition" His sun flames mingled with Tsuna's as he allowed them to heal what he could.

'Maybe I should have Nono investigate them. Even if their patients are mostly horrible criminals, they should have competent care so that they don't die before paying for their crimes. The ones in their care are the ones that haven't earned death, yet'

Tsuna blinked as if realizing something "You think that the Vindice are alive?" The weight in his chest had eased a bit thanks to the hitman's help.

Reborn paused the healing to meet Tsuna's gaze "Dead people can't mo-" He cut himself off, scowling. He was talking to a vampire, something that he'd thought didn't exist "Are they something like zombies?" Obviously they don't go attacking people to eat their flesh and spread a virus like everyone usually thought of when thinking of zombies. It was still an unnerving thought though.

'They better not be zombies, they'd have to be wiped out and the aftermath of that would be horrible to clean up'

Honey gleamed with amusement "They're not zombies, just corpses forced to keep going through negative emotions" That was all he could say, not even he himself would be forgiven if he actually told anyone what he'd learned "I can't say anything else"

Noting the sincerity in the other's gaze Reborn nodded "Fine" Some things just couldn't be said, at least not without dire consequences "I'll have Nono get them to hire proper medical staff since I can only imagine how they'd treat a criminal they don't like" Just because he was a hitman, it didn't mean that he didn't believe that once punished, criminals should stay alive long enough to continue said punishment.

'It's actually been a while since I've spoken to Nono... I really hope that that idiot Iemitsu has been dealt with already'

Shoichi's mind was practically frayed at this point, with the stress of Byakuran hanging around, he was never given a chance to calm himself down. The only saving grace in this situation was that the creepy teen remained out of sight from the rest of his family. He still couldn't trust him, the guy just radiated dangerous vibes.

'When will this guy finally get tired and leave me alone?'

He was going to get stomach ulcers at this rate, the stress was just more than he was capable of handling "I've got some white chocolate covered marshmallows for you to try" He nervously held out a few bags, his other hand clutching his stomach, an action that'd become more common recently. If he kept Byakuran fed and happy, then surely the guy wouldn't harm him or his family?

Lavender gleamed with curious excitement, making the poor redhead wonder if feeding Byakuran was really the right method to use "I haven't tried that brand before!" He snatched the bags, ripping open one of them and plopping a few of the chocolate covered treats into his mouth "Oh!" He was chewing with his mouth open "Th marsmallo oft side" Byakuran's words were mangled by his chewing.
