It was both reassuring and worrying to see that Tsuna was back to his normal the next day. It hadn't taken long for the teen to fall ill, nor had it for him to recover sufficiently. Reborn didn't like it, he didn't like wondering when his sky's next bad day will be. What if said bad day ended up putting him in jeopardy? He hadn't seen any signs of it's approach, so what's to say the other wouldn't suddenly fall ill during a fight? Or at least more ill than normal.

"Since you skipped a day, you need to work harder today Tsuna" Reborn stated from his chosen resting place. It was a nice tree branch that allowed him to overlook the whole clearing. The school day had actually gone even better than the previous one.

'I doubt that he fed enough flames to the pacifier yesterday, he probably only did the bare minimum

The young sky nodded, mouth in a thin line as his orange flames suddenly came to life, surrounding him in a protective veil "I know Reborn" Tsuna breathed, wincing a bit. His flames weren't really hurting him, but the sheer quantity of them was making him feel uncomfortable. Even though he wasn't trying to hold them in anymore, it still felt like they weren't coming out fast enough.

Reborn watched as Nezumi scurried around the teen, hopping in and out of Tsuna's flames, letting out excited squeaks as she played about. He was glad that his own partner was more relaxed, Leon was preferable in his opinion. Though that didn't mean that he wasn't curious about whether or not the rat had a special skill besides disappearing.

'Nezumi suits Tsuna, the two like to disappear a lot

The energetic and happy nature of the rat also balanced the sky out quite well.

"Hmm... I'm not sure if I should involve myself with the Tsu-chan of this world" A white haired teen whispered to himself, lavender eyes gazing worriedly in the direction the sky flames felt the strongest. This world was weird, so much of it was wrong, very very wrong. People who were supposed to be alive were dead, and people who were supposed to be dead were alive, and to make things worse, some of them shouldn't even exist.

'This is the first Tsu-chan that I've come across that isn't going to be the Vongola Decimo'

The teen was suddenly forced out of his thoughts with a yelp, wings made of condensed sky flames sprouting from his back in order to aid him in dodging the deadly sky flames that'd been sent his way.

'Okay this one uses deadly force right off, I should leave for now'

He flew away, chancing a backwards glance over his shoulder. A shiver ran through him at the hard orange hued glare he got in return. What was with this world? This Tsuna was dangerous, he needed to learn more before approaching again. This world's Tsuna could kill him, many could, but few actually would.

"He's gone..." Tsuna breathed, still staring in the direction where the stranger had gone "I need to contact Kyoya and Mukuro" He pulled out his phone, texting the two about the presence of a new threat in Namimori. This stranger seemed more dangerous than normal, especially with how skilled he was with flames.

"Of course he is" Reborn smirked, the figure had seemed somewhat familiar, so they were probably involved with the mafia. Though he must not have been born into it, or he just wasn't all that important, he knew the important members who'd been born into it "Few would still stick around after that"

'The shocked look on his face reminded me of Dino, maybe I should introduce them just to mess with him'

The sky made a curious noise "Do you think I could learn to fly like that?" Those had been sky flames right? They'd been oddly white in colour.

Reborn eyed his sky "Possibly, many people can use their flames to achieve flight. Though its more difficult with some flame types compared to others"

Orange faded to honey, lighting up with excitement "Can you fly?"

"I know how, but my flames would give away my position so I don't bother" The hitman glanced at his own hand "Especially like this" He couldn't access his flames as easily as Tsuna could.

'I'd much rather have Tsuna cursed like myself instead of how he is. Being able to access his flames, only to be made to die young isn't a fair trade off. Not that there was anything fair about the curse in the first place'

Tsuna nodded in understanding "I guess being a hitman does require you to use stealth" Colourful magical flames shooting through the sky would be a dead giveaway. He smirked "And I doubt that you've ever messed up badly enough to need to escape like that guy did"

"You're correct" The hitman stated, returning the smirk with one of his own. He wasn't the world's greatest hitman for nothing after all.

'I need to stay somewhere...'

He'd been planning to stay at Tsuna's, but that didn't seem like such a good idea anymore. A hotel would be boring, so he didn't want to stay at one of those "Oh I know!" The white haired teen grinned "I'll stay at Sho-chan's" It didn't matter that the red head didn't know him, he'd know him soon enough" He could be a very persuasive person.

'I'll be able to get him to buy me some marshmallows too'

With a grin, he made his way towards his new destination, floating down beside where he knew the other's window was. He gave it a few knocks, waving with a grin when a red haired boy came into view, mouth open in shock. He spoke before the redhead had a chance to freak out"I need a place to stay Sho-chan, Tsu-" His words caught in his throat as a pained grimace overtook his grin as his flames promptly fizzled out. He dropped, hitting his head on something on the way down. He could hear yelling, but the words were hard to make out. What had he been doing again?

Me: The future arc never happened in this world, it couldn't have since key elements were gone. Though that doesn't mean that there aren't leftover echoes...

Barely any time in the 'present' happened during that arc too... I think o.o it's been years since I've actually read or watched KHR

Hope you enjoyed~
