Ie let out a frustrated huff as Tsuna easily sidestepped the electrified green orb that he'd sent at him, the sky making sure that he stayed out of reach of the sparking discharge. Apparently whenever someone was near one of Ie's offensively made lightning orbs, the green lightning would arc towards that person. It was similar to how real lightning struck "You're too fast" He whined, wiping some sweat from his brow before forming another orb. He preferred to concentrate his attacks instead of just letting loose a wild discharge. He'd had enough unnecessary violence in his life already.

'I don't think that I'd ever be able to actually hit him...'

Tsuna smiled, eyes glowing a soft orange as he pumped more of his flames out into a protective veil. It was the only way to actually get the other to target him "You're control is good Ie-chan" He was impressed by how quickly his brother had adapted to forming his flames into spheres "You just need more speed"

Brown narrowed with concentration, whenever he tried to do it quickly, the orbs would discharge at random moments or just fall apart immediately into a flurry of lightning flames "I know" He grit out, they'd been at it for a few hours, his skin felt weird and tingly.

'I don't want to just randomly shoot my flames everywhere...'

The sky eyed the other curiously for a few moments "You're hardening your flames as they're forming right?" At Ie's nod Tsuna continued "Then why don't you try collecting the flames first then hardening them" They'd been surprised when Reborn had informed them about the actual properties of the flames.

Ie grimaced "That sounds dangerous..." What if he just ended up letting loose another discharge?

'I don't want to risk hurting people whenever I try to use my flames'

"I'll be fine" Tsuna's smile was soft "Trust me" His flame veil became more dense. The sky thought that it was overkill, but if it reassured Ie, then it was fine. Plus, wasn't he supposed to be using up his own flames anyways?

The lightning swallowed nervously "Okay" Moments later, green sparks began to arc wildly from Ie's right hand. The teen bit his lip as he began to force the flames into a compact sphere, it felt similar to what he'd already been doing, but it took more concentration to do it. He blinked when said sphere was complete "It took me longer to make it"

'Why do lightning flames have to be so wild? Even storm flames apparently don't go crazy like mine do'

"Of course" Tsuna smirked "That was your first time trying it that way" It only made sense that it'd be slower. Though he couldn't help but inwardly wince, it was his own fault that his brother was too worried about how wild his own flames looked. He'd allowed Ie to hurt him for so long, and now the other was paranoid of hurting people accidentally.

"I guess" Ie frowned as he looked down at the sparking sphere in his hands.

Reborn was enjoying just hanging back and observing the two train, keeping a sharp eye on his sky. It was interesting to see how Ie seemed to be rejecting the part of his flames that had earned the name 'lightning'.

'He's trying too hard to force his flames into submission while also forcing them out...'

If the two don't get anywhere after a few days, he might give them a hint or two. Onyx gleamed, at least Tsuna had a somewhat good theory. The problem was that Ie would probably be fine if he just stopped trying to restrain the discharge, it wasn't like it was causing damage or anything. He smirked as he watched Ie send yet another sphere at his sky.

'His control over the hardening aspect is quite good at the very least, I have a feeling that Ie will be more of a defensive fighter'

That would be fine, especially since all of Tsuna's other guardians were more offence based. Even Mukuro seemed to be oddly physical with his fighting, considering that the mist actually carried around a weapon and all. Having Ie as a defensive fighter should work so long as the other learned offensive skills as well, he had a feeling that the lightning could potentially make some strong shields or barriers.

After a few more hours of flame use, Tsuna ended up vomiting blood, thankfully all of it had ended up on the ground instead of his clothing.

"I think that should be it for today" The hitman sighed as he hopped down from the tree that he'd been watching from.

'It's a little alarming to see someone vomit blood'

In his experience it usually meant that the person was about to die, thankfully he knew that wasn't the case with his sky. It would never be.

Ie nodded silently in agreement, he was completely drenched in his own sweat. He couldn't help but feel a little envious of the other's stamina, if Tsuna wasn't ill, the sky would probably be in almost perfect condition.

"Fine" Orange melted into honey as he wiped away a bit of blood from his mouth "I don't want Ie-chan to faint" He cast a wary glance at the other. Ie's face was flushed, brown eyes glazed with exhaustion "We should have brought more water" He wasn't used to training with Ie yet, so he'd forgotten that the other would probably sweat more.

'Of course Tsuna would say that instead of taking note of how he'd just vomited blood'

"Water would be nice" Ie breathed, swaying a bit. He would have fallen if Tsuna hadn't caught him. He was so thirsty, his mouth was so dry.

Honey softened "Just rest, I'll carry you home" Ie mumbled something that neither sky nor hitman could understand before passing out. Tsuna easily moved the other so that he was hanging on his back, ignoring the gross feeling of the other's sweat soaking him. He'd definitely need a shower too.

"I wonder what Nana is making for dinner tonight" Reborn stated as they began to head back. It was a bit amusing that the ill one was carrying the healthy one.

Me: So Ie is wary~
