Tsuna was dying more than before, the young sky just knew it. He'd decided to try Kyoya's suggestion, figuring that it wasn't like he had much to lose if it didn't work. At this current point in time, Tsuna has yet to figure out if draining himself completely will help with his control or not. His honey gaze was unfocused as he exhaustively heaved on a patch of longer grass. Sweat had soaked his skin as his limbs trembled from exhaustion, it was taking a lot of effort to stop himself from falling face first into his own vomit.

He felt so cold, the ever present sky flames were nowhere within his reach. They were his own flames, yet Tsuna couldn't even feel them, let alone sense them. Tsuna squinted, vision fluctuating before degrading into nothing but blurred colours. A small bitter laugh bubbled forth, for a moment he'd thought that he'd seen Reborn looking visibly worried. It was an odd look, almost funny.

*

Stupid stupid stupid stupid, Reborn inwardly cursed the fact that his smart student could still do very stupid things despite his intelligence. Unlike with his last one, he's never really expecting Tsuna to do stupid things until they've already been done. At least with Dino, he was expecting it and therefore more prepared to stop his more stupid actions.

'I don't even know what he was even trying to accomplish... Tsuna is decent enough at control to at least prevent such a volatile flame outburst when he's trying to make small, controlled flames'

Before passing out, The bloody, barely aware smile that Tsuna had given him after laughing had been creepy. It took a lot to creep him out, but Tsuna's actions had been eerie at the very least "Dame-Tsuna" Reborn bit out, cautiously reaching his own flames towards his sky, relaxing a bit when they were accepted without any problems. The hitman couldn't do much, since his own flames were severely limited, but he at least eased a bit of the other's internal bleeding. Healing Tsuna this time around felt a lot easier in comparison to the other times. He wasn't sure if he'd ever truly get used to seeing his sky vomit up his own blood.

'He shouldn't die if he'd properly tended to within an hour'

Reborn eyed the unconscious teen in contemplation. He was physically too small to swiftly bring Tsuna out of the woods, at least not without jostling the other. His gaze turned towards the contract scar of Tsuna's arm, knowing his sky's taste in guardians, he was sure that at least the mist was aware of Tsuna's condition.

'It would be more efficient to wait for either Hibari or Mukuro to arrive'

It was an annoying thought, but he knew that both the cloud and mist were competent. They were also big enough to safely transport his sky. Normal flame exhaustion was dangerous, but completely draining away every single ounce of flame was deadly enough without factoring in Tsuna's illness. The loss of one's flames left the body in an ironically fragile state, one wrong move could shatter bones or rupture organs. The stronger the flames, the more devastating the effects. Reborn didn't want to risk wheeling Tsuna out of a forest on a Leon stretcher, not when there were smarter ways to transport him.

'I will have to educate Tsuna on the repercussions of flame exhaustion and depletion after this'

"Baby carnivore" Kyoya was suddenly kneeling next to Tsuna.

Reborn smirked, it had taken only 6 minutes of being idle for the skylark to reach them. Factoring in the fact that Mukuro had probably had to find and inform him of the situation, it was a commendable reaction time "Treat him like he'll shatter as you bring him to a doctor" He warned. The skylark gave a small nod, not turning towards him as he picked Tsuna up and disappeared.

Kyoya felt bad, and he didn't like the feeling. The diagnosis the predator had offered when he'd handed the baby carnivore over wasn't one that he was proud of. His advice had been dangerous, and the baby carnivore had almost died because of it. Steel eyes narrowed as he hopped along the roofs, needing to take out his frustrations on some herbivores.

'I will educate myself more about flames, my lack of knowledge made me fail as a carnivore'

Carnivores were supposed to look over those they deemed worthy of their protection, and his advice had harmed the baby carnivore. Intentional harm was fine, but accidental harm wasn't.

Reborn frowned, Tsuna hadn't been admitted to any of the nearby hospitals. His sky also wasn't in his own room, so where was the injured teen? He highly doubted that Kyoya had just dumped him somewhere random, the aloof cloud did actually care for Tsuna after all.

'Do they have a doctor acquaintance?'

Usually by now most people would assume that they'd met everyone important, Reborn wasn't like most people and neither was Tsuna. It wouldn't surprise him if the sky still had a fair amount of allies that he still didn't know about. Though that still didn't mean that he was okay with not knowing where the injured Tsuna was. Kyoya was the one to last see Tsuna, so all he would need to do was ask the skylark.

Finding the skylark ended up being quite easy, all one needed to do was run around and listen for the pained screams of the cloud's victims "Where's Tsuna?" Reborn inquired as he watched Kyoya flick his bloody tonfa towards the wall, splattering blood.

'He seems to be on edge, the victims don't look like criminals even though they're bloodied as if they were'

"I gave the baby carnivore to the predator" Kyoya stated, as if Reborn knew who exactly the predator was.

"Can you tell me their name or describe them?" He wasn't aware of any big threats nearby, and the fact that they'd been labelled a predator was concerning.

The skylark blinked, needing to process the question first "The leader of the bandaged ones" They were the only ones with medical equipment they knew that knew anything about flames. He'd thought that a normal doctor would have been useless.

'The bandaged ones?...'

Me: Even the best can make mistakes~
