Reborn refrained from twitching when Tsuna came into the room, the sky's presence wasn't the problem. The problem was the storm arcobaleno who was comfortably seated in Tsuna's fluffy hair "Aren't you supposed to be searching for clues?" The hitman inquired, he still deemed Fon to be somewhat of a threat towards his current position in Tsuna's life. Fon had known Tsuna a lot longer than he has after all.

'He's not supposed to be here right now...'

Fon smiled, expression calm "You have no need to worry Reborn, I'm just visiting since I'm passing through Asia anyways" It was amusing to see the hitman acting territorial towards the sky.

"He has to leave in a few hours in order to catch his flight" Tsuna affirmed, not wanting two of his elements to fight. Unlike his other elements, the teen wasn't fully confident in his ability to put a stop to it if it started getting out of hand. They were arcobaleno for a reason after all, and even though he was technically one, he hadn't really gotten the position due to his achievements.

"I wasn't worried" Reborn denied, clicking his tongue in annoyance. He decided to change the subject "Ie is currently passed out in his room if you want to see him" He'd worked the lightning hard, since Tsuna's guardians needed to be the very best.

'No matter what route Tsuna ends up taking in life, there will always be people who are going to go after him'

Tsuna just smiled, gaze soft "Okay Reborn" He didn't believe the sun at all "You're still my favourite element" He's known Fon longer, but the storm rarely stayed for too long at a time and he doubted that he'd ever be able to stay long unless the other was too injured to actually go.

"Of course I am" The hitman snorted, ignoring how his inner flames warmed at the confirmation. He'd never admit to how great those words made him feel.

"Oh?" Fon's tone was sharp, threatening "I guess it can't be helped with how often I'm gone..." So long as he was the sky's main storm in all but appearances it should be fine. He wasn't childishly petty like Reborn was "At least our bond is strong enough to allow us to be separated for long spans of time" The stronger the sky, the more easily bonds could be both made and broken. Too many bonds could be overwhelming after all.

Tsuna grimaced, he should have probably said that when Fon wasn't around.

Reborn grit his teeth at the implication the other was hinting at "My bond with Tsuna is stronger than yours" Tsuna had opened up enough to talk to him surprisingly fast considering the circumstances.

'I won't allow myself to be beat by someone who's rarely around'

"Both of your bonds with me are equally strong in different ways" The sky breathed, wanting to end the argument before it truly got serious "They're so different that it's illogical to even attempt to compare them" Most of his bonds were equal more or less, though the ones with Hayato and Takeshi were quite weak and his own bond with Ie was by far the strongest. Neither arcobaleno needed to know about Ie's bond strength though, he didn't want his brother to suffer the consequences of them knowing.

Sensing his sky's growing distress, Fon decided to let the conversation drop where it was "I think I might go and check on Ie since I've rarely associated with him while he's been normal" Getting to know the true Ie would be beneficial since Ie was to be Tsuna's lightning, and was also his sky's beloved brother. It would earn him some extra points in Tsuna's book if he actually befriended the young lightning, not to mention that he was kinda curious about him.

'I want to know what's so special about Ie that made Tsuna adore him even while he was ill with flame sickness'

With that, he hopped off of his sky's head and headed towards Ie's room, passing through the doorway with ease. The storm blinked when he spotted the teen sprawled awkwardly on the bed, filthy with dirt and sweat, drool trailing from the corner of his mouth. Huh, there were a lot less bruises visible than he expected, and now that he was really looking, were those cat whisker scars? He stifled a snort, wondering how many times it'd taken Ie to anger reborn enough for some of the bullet grazes to actually scar his face.

Since his time was limited, he didn't have the luxury to just wait until Ie woke up, so he decided to wake him up himself via a cup of water. It wasn't like the bed and sheets weren't already filthy from the bow now showering before resting anyways.

Ie yelped, scrambling and falling off the bed, eyes wide with fear as he looked around, only to pause in confusion at the sight of Fon instead of Reborn "Are all of you guys crazy when waking people up?"

Fon raised a brow, noting the lack of any real anger in the teen's tone, it was actually more exasperated than anything "My apologies, but I'm not used to children besides Tsuna and I didn't want to cross any boundaries by shaking you awake" His first student always woke up in time so he'd only ever had to wake up Tsuna before now "My time here is also limited so I didn't want to wait"

'It's astounding to see Ie act so different than before'

Of course he'd been there for the aftermath, but the lightning had been too distraught or unconscious to actually judge him.

Ie let out a sigh "At least you're not acting violently by shocking me awake like Reborn used to"

"Oh, he's stopped hurting you?" That was actually quite mature of the hitman considering how much the guy seemed to despise at the start.

The teen nodded "Within reason" He bit his lip, lowering his gaze to the floor "Thanks for never being truly violent towards me back when I was..." He paused, grimacing "Back when I was ill"

Me: Yup, I didn't forget about all the times Reborn has grazed Ie's cheek with a bullet~ Some of them were bound to scar~

I'm concerned about school starting up again >^< ... With the reduced seating and the hoards of students that use the route I like... I doubt that I'll be able to actually get on the bus during my preferred time... Gah, good thing I rarely leave the house unless it's required
