You take a quick glance at Sanzu and notice his facial complexion and the loss of colour in his face. He gave you a small smile, trying to reassure you. You turned your head back to the man who came charging back at you again. You couldn't really move from the spot you were standing in, as it would leave Sanzu vulnerable to any attacks from the man. It would be troublesome if the man had held Sanzu at knifepoint, especially since he was weaponless. You stopped the man's slashing motion with the sharp end of your sword, and slide upwards to dissipate the stress being placed on the sword. You slashed at him, but he jumped back in time to avoid it. He moved further into the darkness and his faint outline could be seen. Keeping your eyes on him, you reached into your waistline and pulled out the gun and dropped it into Sanzu's lap discretely. He noticed it falling, and caught it. He kept still and hid the gun under the palm of his hands. You advanced towards the man this time, taking him by surprise, as you were supposed to protect Sanzu.

"Don't you care about him?" The man jeered, lifting his head slightly pointing in Sanzu's direction. You just kept a blank face and didn't answer him. He threw one of his spare knives from his pocket at you, as it grazed your cheek. You thrust the sword at him, and it pierced something. The sound of blood dripping down on the floor was heard, but you knew that it wasn't the man. Looking at the tip of your sword, the man was holding up the passed out woman as a human shield, protecting himself from the sword thrust.

"That's low of you," You uttered, clenching your teeth. You pulled the sword out of the woman's body. She groaned as you pulled it out. You had stabbed her in the abdomen, so you knew that there was nothing but death ahead of her.

"Does it look like I care much?" The man answered back. You grew more and more irritated at the situation. You needed to finish this quickly. The man launched himself at you, with his knives in between his fingers (like wolverine?) and launched them one by one at you. Dodging all of them in low light was difficult, as you relied on the man's erratic movement and the glint of the knife's edge. You moved closer to him and slashed at his upper body. It had connected with him this time, but the wound was a little too shallow. You swung once more, taking advantage of his moment of weakness. His leg moved a little too quickly, and his leg made contact with your abdomen. You coughed out from the shock as the oxygen was squeezed out from your body. But you kept moving forward. With one hand, you grabbed his wrists and pinned them behind his back, holding the sword at his neck.

"Seems like this is it for you," You snickered, running the edge of the sword into his neck slowly. You watched as he began to squirm in your grip, coughing out blood.

"I wasn't aiming for you," He smirked before the blood gushed out from his neck, spraying out in all directions. He slumped down onto the floor, blood seeping from the open wound in his neck.

What?

You glanced over quickly to Sanzu who had another two knives in his body. One on his shoulder, another in his abdomen. This wasn't good. You quickly rushed over to his side.

"Oi! Sanzu! You alright?!" You asked, panicking. He was quite pale now, ignoring the fact that he was naturally pale. "I'll get you out of here, okay?" You picked up one of the knives from the floor and wedged it in between the wall and the choker and broke the it off of his neck. He was now free. You carried him over your shoulders, with his arms and legs dangling. He was heavy and fairly tall, so it was quite a challenge. You walked over to the ladder and began to climb each rung slowly, trying to be careful to not tip over as a fall now would be detrimental. Lifting the hatch from the cellar, you exited the dark cellar as more light flooded into your eyes. Your pupils dilated immediately from the change in light. You staggered slowly back the way you came, making sure to not step on the arrows on the floor to set off any more traps. Tapping the earpiece, you spoke into it, with a shaky voice.
