You slowed to halt as you pulled up outside D&D Motors. Almost instantly, Draken pulled open the door and rushed out towards the street. You assumed it was because he recognised the sound of Mikey's bike. You saw his face drain in colour, as disappointment and pain set in. You turned off the engine and began to roll the bike into the shop as Draken followed you in.
"Sorry about that," Draken started, trudging behind the counter. "So what can I help you with ma'am?"
You looked around the shop, as it was lined with numerous motorbikes. You kicked the stand back onto the floor, as it balanced itself. It was near the counter as you explained the situation to Draken.
"Hi, I'd like a check-up on the bike if you can. If there are any repairs needed, I'll get it done," You explained, tapping the seat of the bike. Draken went back around the counter towards the bike and squatted down near it and began to inspect the bike. "Cool tattoo by the way," You exclaimed, pointing to his head. He smiled in response, uttering a small 'thanks'.
"Inupi!" He called out loudly, as Inui emerged from the room behind the counter.
"Yeah?" Draken pointed to the bike and Inui immediately understood the situation. You knew this would be a difficult situation to get out of, so you had to leave.
"Is it alright if I leave this to you for the day?" You asked, looking down at Draken who was still inspecting the bike, almost looking at it with worry but hope in his eyes.
"Uh, yeah sure. Can I ask where you got this bike?"
"I've had it for a few years now, I think it's been about 5 years? Thought it would be time to get it checked. Why?" You lied, clenching your jaw while lying through your teeth.
"I had a friend a while back that had exactly the same bike," He said, in a pained voice.
"What I coincidence I guess," You uttered, biting your lip behind your mask.
"Yeah. You know, you remind me of one of my other friends from in the past. She would always wear a mask and was about the same height as you. I haven't seen her in years though." Draken says, looking up at you with a small smile.
"You seemed to have lost a few friends over your lifetime. What's stopping you from chasing them?" There was a long silence that hung in the air before he answered again.
"I don't know about Y/N, but I'm sure she's with him," Draken started. "Y/N is the friend that I said looked like you," He clarified.
"They're in Bonten," Inui stated, getting to the point quickly.
"Ohh, makes sense." You said, tucking a loose strand of platinum hair behind your ears.
"Aren't you shocked?"
"Eh, not really. Bonten's chill. Well, I don't know them personally, but they're chill people, if you ignore their crimes," You laughed slightly, scratching the nape of your neck.
Draken suddenly stood up and grabbed your shoulders. "Have you seen the boss?" He exclaimed sharply, eyes wide. You nod your head, as you felt his fingers loosen on your shoulders. "Is he alright?" He mumbled under his breath.
"He must be your old friend who owned the similar bike, huh?" Draken uttered a 'yes.' "Yeah, he seems okay. He's quite silent, so I can't say much. The others are rowdy though," You let out a small laugh, as Draken let go of your shoulders, turning back to the bike.
"How do you even know them?" Inui asked, giving you a dirty stare. "Hope you're not an underworld figure, coz that'll be troublesome for our business," He growled lowly, blond locks swaying side to side as he stepped towards you.
