I pulled up at the front of the mansion and noticed a black car parked in front of the property. A car that wasn't of Bonten's property. Someone else was here. I exited the car with my sword and handgun and entered through the overgrown front garden. The grass providing enough height to just cover me if I lay down on the ground. So I did. I noticed that there was a path on the grass made recently as well, a path of flattened grass leading to the main entrance of the mansion.

I slipped through the open gap of the front door carefully, sticking to the shadows. The bloodstains from the dead men that Y/N had killed all that time ago still remained, but the bodies were long disposed of, by us. The faint sound of shuffling feet echoed through the hallway to my right. In the distance, the dark hallway was disturbed by a small light source by an open door leading to a room where the interior had the lights on. It was more than strange.

"Drug import paperwork?" The voice stated softly, as the flickering of paper drowned out the man's voice. The sound of another man's voice, presumably on the phone was heard, giving out more instructions.

"How's the woman doing?" The voice asked. I moved closer to the doorframe to listen in further. I peeked around the edge of the doorframe, noticing that the man had his back turned towards the door. I took a few quick steps before hooking my arm around his neck and pointing the gun at his forehead. "Wha-" He dropped the phone, clattering on the floor. The papers on the desk lay out messily. I ordered the man to pick up the phone, and I squatted down to keep him compliant. He held out the phone shakily, and I pressed the speakerphone button.

"What was that?" The man on the other end asked, getting a little suspicious.

I nudged the man with the tip of my gun. "Oh, I saw a roach and I freaked out. Sorry, boss." The boss sighed before continuing.

"Did you find the paperwork?" He ordered.

"Yep, I found it. Would you like me to email it to you?" He asked, quivering a little in my arms. I leaned in to the man in my grip.

"Ask again about the woman," I whispered in his ear, as he shivered.

"Yes, thank you." The boss answered.

"How's the woman?" He asked for me, nearly cutting off the boss's words.

There was a small silence on the other end of the phone. "I don't know. She went into labour earlier this morning. She could be dead for all I know." He let out a laugh, but I nearly dropped the gun.

Labour...?

The man in my grip let out a forced laugh as well, going along with the boss's remarks. "Would you like anything else sent or is the paperwork all?"

"That'll be all. Thanks." The phone call immediately ended. I grabbed the phone from his grasp and threw it against the wall, hearing the crack. I shoved the gun into the man's temple.

"Answer my questions, and I might just let you die quickly," I growled, gripping the gun tight enough that the trigger started to shake under my finger.

He nodded compliantly, as I forced him to sit down on the chair. I stood against the wall and continued to point the gun at his head.

"Is this woman you referred to the woman who the boss took from here about 10 months ago?"

"Yes." He answered quickly, keeping his answers to one word.

So Y/N is safe for the time being.

"What gang are you and the boss part of?"

"Kurayami."

"Where is the boss right now?"
