Y/N POV
As you arrive at the entrance of the restaurant, you're taken aback by the amount of detail and 'luxury' that this place radiates. Even if you yourself are loaded with cash, you were never one to indulge yourself in such items that you had no use for. Ancient Chinese vases placed on top of smooth marble showcase pillars lined the walls, while historical artworks hung from the walls. The ceiling was crowned with intricate details, some even so small you couldn't make out what they were. In front of you, stood a young woman, whom you assumed was one of the waitresses. She was the definition of what society would consider beautiful - pale smooth skin, wavy brown hair and large round brown eyes. Her waitress uniform complimented her well, shaping her figure perfectly.
"Good evening. Can I have your name for your reservation please?" She asks in a voice that any normal man would fall for, looked at the two of us, before glancing at her paper on the clipboard.
"Haruchiyo thanks," Sanzu answers as the waitress slides her finger down to the middle of the paper where his name was listed.
"Busy night tonight?" You ask the waitress.
She finds the name and checks it off before leading the way to one of the tables. "Not too busy today," She states, pointing to your table before pulling out the chair under you for you to sit on. You grab her hand and whisper into her ear.
"You're part of Ichthus I assume," You whisper as she freezes up so you continue. "I hope you're aware of tonight's situation?" She lets out a quick nod of the head in response. You let go of her arm and speak normally as if you never had this one-sided conversation with her. "Can I order a bottle of champagne before we order our main? Thank you," You announce a little too loudly, causing some heads to be turned. The waitress leaves immediately, and you stare back at Sanzu who was sitting opposite you.
Sanzu was busy staring up at the ceiling, where the golden chandelier hung, glistening in the warm yellow lighting. He seemed to notice your stare and looked over at you, placing his elbows on the table, propping his head up with his hands. "Anything wrong?" He asked giving you a raise of the eyebrow.
You took a quick glance at where Hanma and the so-called traitor were sitting by the window. "Just wish this wasn't a mission. It would've been nice to go out, just the two of us, an actual date night," You exhaled heavily, turning your attention back to Sanzu.
He gave you a small cheeky smile. "We can go somewhere after the mission?" He asked, his voice raising a small tone. You felt your face flush a little at the idea.
"Can we?" You exclaimed excitedly. He nodded in response as a smile crept upon his face as well.
The waitress interrupted the small happy moment, as she placed the champagne bottle on the table, along with two tall, narrow glasses, rounded well at the bottom and made from crystalline glass. She popped open the champagne bottle with a small knife that she kept in her apron that hung from her waist, making a slicing motion from under the cork to the top. The cork flew off, as white smoke floated for a second before dispersing in the air. She grabbed one of the champagne glasses and poured the drink through the edge of the glass as it slowly bubbled to the top. She placed the glass down and slid it to me, before pouring another glass and passing it over to Sanzu.
She placed the half-empty champagne bottle on the further edge of the table, before taking a quick step back and pulling out her notepad. "Would you two like to order?"
You grabbed the menu on the table and took a quick glance at the menu. You pointed to the number and name of the order. "I'd like one of these, thanks." You passed the menu to Sanzu, who just closed it shut without looking.
