As we were escorted back into the dorms everything was silent. People had realized that the price of these games meant losing their lives.

I searched for player 199. I had to thank him for saving my life. If not for him I probably would have been one of many dead players out there...I spotted him and made my way towards him.

"Player 199," I called out to him. He looked up excited to see me. I waved him over into a corner by the beds and waited until he met me there.

As soon as he came over I launched myself onto him and hugged him. Words can not express how thankful I am for him. "You saved my life out there. Thank you." When we pulled apart player 199 formed a smile "You're alive, that is what matters, 306.", I return his smile and said "My name is Yeona.", "Ali." Before any of us could say anything else, a loud buzz echoed as the large metal doors opened. We move towards the front to get a better view of what is going on. The masked men came in.

"You have all made it through the first game." One of the masked men states. "Congratulations, you're moving on. I will now announce the results of the first game."

On the digital screen above the number of players changed from 456 to 201. "Out of 456 players, 255 were eliminated, and 201 players successfully completed the first game."

Some people in the crowd gasped. These people lost their lives over a silly game. If they would have informed us that we could be killed, I'm pretty sure a lot of people would have reconsidered their decision to play.

"Mister, please. Listen. I am so sorry. I swear I will pay what I owe. I'll do it. I'll pay it all." A woman fell to her knees and began to plead and beg  "I have a child. Oh! So young. I need to register, and I still need to name my child, sir" She sobbed even louder.

Others began to follow in her lead and knelt down too. Begging for forgiveness and a chance at freedom.

"Please, sir let me leave." another cried

"Please. I'm so sorry."

"There seems to be a misunderstanding." The square mask man said. "We are not trying to hurt you or collect your debts. Let me remind you that we're here to give you a chance."

"A chance?. We play some kids games, And you shoot us. You want me to choose that? That's some chance."

"We may be in debt sir, but that does not justify killing us all." another man cried

"This is just a game." The masked man said

"Killing everyone out there was a... game to you?"

"They were simply eliminated for breaking the rules of the game, if you just follow the rules, you can leave this place safely with the prize money we promised."

"Let us leave. Let us go." People began to shout

"Consent of clause 1 states that a player is not allowed to stop playing".

"Come on! You think you'll get away with this, huh?" Another player yelled.

"The police will come. They'll bust in here any minute now. They'll be here since we all disappeared." another said.

A couple of people began to yeah in agreement

"And I bet they have everybody's phones tracked here already. Look at all your hostages. You're doomed if you don't let us go! We're all dead!"
