"Jongin-ah! Let's go play!" Min Kyung called out her best friend. Although they were only 17, they loved to play together.

"Min Kyung, I have a date with Krystal today. Mianhae. Maybe next time." Jongin said. "Goodbye!"

Before she even said a word, he already ran away. She heaved a sigh as she walked back home. It was obvious. She loved him, but he loves someone else.

Walking to her desk, sees a reminder. A reminder of her to take pills. She opens the bottle of pills, and consumes two. Min Kyung walks to her bed and lies down.

"Why is this happening in such a early age?" She mumbled. She decided to sleep to make the pain leave.

It's been two months she hasn't seen Jongin. How is he? How is he doing with his new girlfriend? Min Kyung feels like her soul has been taken out. She finds it so boring without his presence.

She goes to her kitchen and opens the bottle of pills. She consumes another two and decides to lie down on the couch. Suddenly, her phone began to ring.

It was Jongin.

"Hello?" Her voice cracked.

"Guess what?!" Jongin yelled through the phone.

"What?" She asked weakly.

"We're engaged."

Min Kyung's world has just fallen down. She felt like a million daggers have stabbed her. "That's great." She paused. "Why so early?"

"I think it's just love at first sight. I love her so much."

"Congratulations. Make sure to invite me, okay?" She said.

"Of course! You're my best friend. Okay, I got to go now. My jagi is calling me. Annyeong!" And he hung up.

"I'm just a best friend after all..." She mumbled.

Min Kyung has been meeting her best friend frequently. He was getting married next week, so he invited her to help him get prepared.

Her condition stopped through the past few years. She was feeling better and stronger. And she didn't have to suffer intense pain at night.

"Min Kyung, which one should I choose?" Her best friend asked.

"I think this one suits you best." She said. "It's perfect on you."

"Thanks." He smiled. The best smile ever. "Why don't you find something for yourself? I'll pay for you."

Oh, uhh, no. It's okay. You don't have to get me anything." She smiled sheepishly.

"Aish... Quit being stubborn and choose a dress." He said a he picked up the suit.

"Okay, thanks." She said.

She strolled around the store to see what she wanted. There was this white dress, perfect for a bride, it caught her eye. She wanted to wear this on the aisle with Jongin, but he's already engaged.

She placed her hands on the beautiful made dress. The designs embedded on it was delightful, while the gems sparkled brightly like diamonds.

"Found what you wanted?" A voice asked. "Wow. Should I buy this for Krystal?"

"Umm, sure." She said.

Jongin checked his wallet only to find 1,000,000 won. Each piece of clothing costs about 500,000 won. He did not have enough.

"Uh, Min Kyung, I don't have enough money. Is it okay if I buy you a dress next time? I really want to buy Krystal this." He begged.

"Okay." She said as she smiled.

"Thank you!"

A year has passed and their wedding was good. She felt on the verge of tears while seeing them together. Why couldn't it be her?

But, she had bad news. Her brain VSD is coming back and it's getting worse. She had to go back on her pills. She was sick as ever.

"Doctor? How much time do I live?" She asked.

"About 2 months."

Though she was dying, she wanted Jongin to be happy. She wanted Krystal to love him more as she loves him.

Min Kyung got her old video cams that Jongin and her used to use and create videos. She wanted to say a message to him before she dies.

"Hey Jongin, I might be gone by now. But, there's these words that I've been wanting to say to you ever since we were little. I love you. Yes, I know you're married, but I can't help it. I love you too much. So much, that I can't express it in words how much I love you. Please be happy. Live your life and make sure Krystal loves you more than I do. You see," She pauses and begins to tear up, "I'm sick, but I didn't want to tell you. I was afraid that I'd be a burden to you and Krystal. I have VSD. Even though I have holes in my heart, it will always beat for you. I promise. Don't cry now. I love you. I love you so much. Annyeong..."

Min Kyung cries. "I love you..."

"Min Kyung?! Yah, eodiya?" Jongin yelled through her apartment. "Min Kyung! Don't hid from me, I need to tell you something!"

"Jongin?" A voice spoke.

"Oh, eommonim. Where's Min Kyung?" He asked.

"She gone..." Her mother then broke into tears. "But, she left this for you."

She handed him the camera. He reluctantly opened the video.

"Hey Jongin, I might be gone by now. But, there's these words that I've been wanting to say to you ever since we were little. I love you. Yes, I know you're married, but I can't help it. I love you too much. So much, that I can't express it in words how much I love you. Please be happy. Live your life and make sure Krystal loves you more than I do. Jongin was crying. "When did she die? Where is she?!"

"She's in her room."

He quickly ran into her room. He found her under the blanket, pale as ever. There was no color to her skin anymore.

"Minkyung..." Jongin sobbed. "Why did you leave me?"

Jongin and Krystal, along with their two year old daughter stood in front of her grave.

Jongin knelt down and placed a bouquet of flowers on the stone grave. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't get to hear you out." He didn't even notice he was crying.

The family left, with a voice saying:

"I love you..."
