Switched Love

He's here!

First day of school.

To others, it's the start of new a life. Where another friendship starts. Meeting new faces, new people. Finding a new place to hang out with new friends. The day some students decides whether to drop a subject or not. The day to figure out whose teacher is to be feared of or to be tamed. To figure out who're the weak ones and the bullies. Who are the jerks and nerds. To others.. it's the start of an adventure.

And I'm one of the others.

I'm in my third year now. So I already knew what the first day of school feels like..

.. and looks like.

Students rushing back and forth. Filling the hallway. I can see a lot of new faces. But still there are the familiar ones I used to see for my two years in the University.

Hamilton University.

After a lot of pushing and pulling between the crowded hallway, I finally saw Dianne and Jewel. They are standing near my locker. "Gosh, I can't wait to see him." I heard Jewel said as I went near them. Talking about boys again. I sighed.
It's Dianne who noticed me at first, and then Jewel. "Case, guess what." Jewel said excitedly. I opened my locker first, unloading some of my things, then close it again before facing my two friends. "What?" I said plainly. Jewel took a glance at Dianne first, as if trying to ask permission of what she's going to say. Dianne nodded, smiling. Then Jewel turned to face me again. "Scott's here. He's now our schoolmate!" She said, almost screaming in excitement. Wait. Scott's--- what?! My mind shouted.
"That means we're gonna see each other everyday. Omigosh! I can't wait to see him." Jewel exclaimed, fanning herself with her hands like she's gonna faint any minute.
I just stand there. Mouth dropped open in disbelief.
Jewel noticed my reaction. She snapped at me. "Casey, are you okay." She asked, checking my forehead for a fever. "Are you sick." I tapped her hand away. "Nah, I'm fine." From a worried look, Jewel's face returned to its 'excited look'.
"And oh, Reece gonna be here too." She said, turning to Dianne then poked her sides teasing her. Dianne blushed. Pushing Jewel's hands away. "Shut up Jewel. You're such a teaser." They both laughed.

The bell rang.

"So, see yah later, friends!" Jewel said. We gave each other a hug. Then turned way to our rooms.
I'm not at the same year as Jewel and Dianne's . I'm a year ahead of them. But they're at different class so they can't even be together.

Scott is here?! The god?!

The news' didn't sinked in until lunch.
