"Garsh, Dianne! He's so hot!" I heared Jewel giggles as she was looking at Dianne's phone. "I know right?" Dianne laughed at Jewel's reaction.

"C'mon girl, stop acting like a fangirl."  I snapped at Jewel. "No way, Case. You gotta see this." She lend me Dianne's phone. I studied the guy on the photo. He had deep gray eyes. He's not looking at the camera. Stolen shot. I guessed. He's wearing a white shirt that fits perfectly on his, I can say, broad body. His pants' faded blue and a little bit skinny. Now I agree with Jewel. He's perfectly hot.

I just nodded slowly. But pretending uninterested with the guy on the photo. "So what do you think? He's hot, right?" Jewel said, still giggling. And emphasizing the word hot, she rolled her eyes like crazy.

I shook my head. "Yeah, maybe."

Jewel gave me a surprised look. "Maybe?! Case, seriously??" She acted like she's going to faint in disbelief. I laughed. She shrugged.

"So, are you gals going to the party?" Dianne said. Referring to me and Jewel. "Scott's going to be there too." She added. Jewel let out a scream. I'm annoyed. "Perfect!" Jewel said. "Gotta go find a perfect dress." She said excitedly, preparing to leave. I rolled my eyes. Ah, Jewel Ricks. She's a year younger than me. I don't know why I became friends with her. She's kinda sossy. A kind of girl who gets what she wants. They're not that rich. But her parents are both raised with wealth.
I remember meeting her at a school activity. She's friends with Dianne at first, then became my after Dianne introduced me to her. Jewel is somehow friendly. She wants everybody to be her friends, especially boys, if possible.
She knows everyone, and everyone knows her. And Oh, She's also a fan of Takeru Satoh. Just like my sister.

Dianne Carter. She's also my friend. She's a year younger than Jewel. She's an otaku. I met her at the school cafeteria. I was busy scketching then when she came out of nowhere and admired my work. It's kinda awkward at first but she's a jolly one so i got to know her and became her friend.

We've been friends for three years. And we got to know each other well that they sometimes go to our house randomly and ambush our fridge. Pigs.

"So, are you going too." Dianne asked me. I realized it's only the two of us now after Jewel left to go shopping.

"I dunno." I replied. She smirked. "C'mon, Case. You know I'm not going with Jewel alone." I shook my head. "Then don't go". I said sarcastically. "I can't do that." She exclaimed. "They are expecting me to be there. And besides.. Reece will be there too." I noticed her blushed as she mentioned Reece name. Reece Jade is Dianne's childhood crush. And obviously, she's still inlove with him.

I let out a sigh and raised my hands as a sign of surrender. "Fine. I'll go."

Dianne's eyes' widen. "Really?. Oh, Case! Thank you!" She hugged me tight that I can't breathe. "Okay okay. That's enough. You wouldn't want to have a dead girl accompany you at the party right?." I said, acting like I'm choking. Truth is I really am.
"Oh, sorry." She said. Then we both laughed.

Party? That's not my thing. I still can't believe I'm going. But for the sake of Dianne, I'll do it. That's what friends are for, right? Sacrifice?

Sigh.
