Sorry for late updates.
Something happend and my mind's not in the mood to write.

But here it is guys.

Hope you'll like this chap.

* * * *

I was running in the hallway.

Tsk! I'm late!

I can't believe it.
My first period class is 7:30am. Unfortunately, I woke up at 7am. Damn. Why didn't Maddie wake me up? Ts.

Now I'm like a cheetah running down the hallway trying to catch up with my first class. I checked the watch I'm wearing. It's my favorite white watch with black lining.

7:28am.

I gasped.
Oh God!

Now I'm running faster.

Everyone was looking at me, wondering why I'm in a hurry.

Mind your own businesses, humans.

Ts. Don't they have their own classes?
And why they're still in the hallway? Class hour had started. Shouldn't they be in their own rooms at the moment?

Tsk, who cares anyways.
What matter here is I'm late.
I better run faster and stop minding them.

After a few minutes of running and climbing of stairs, I finally arrived at the room. I was panthing. Trying to catch my breath. I just figured out that I'm holding my breath while running, afraid that I can't catch up with my first class.
Why wouldn't I? My first class is Science. And it's one of my major subjects! I'm always thinking that being late means decreasing your grades. And I don't wanna have low grades. I'll be a shame to my family. I mean, it's not that they're expecting too much from me, but it's the only way I can make them proud of me. Especially Dad.

I entered the room and found my classmates roaming around, chatting, laughing, etc.. I looked at the teacher's table and seems like our professor has not yet arrived.

Good gracious! Class have not yet started! So, I'm not late! Ha!

I rejoiced inside.

"Hi Casey!" Someone greeted me from behind.
I turned around to see Patrick Ford.
"Oh. Hi Pat." I smiled at him.
"Seems like you're late." He then glanced his watch.
"Yeah. And I can't believe I am. But I think I have nothing to worry about being late." I said then pointed the teacher's table. "Mr. Cruz has not yet arrived. That means I didn't missed anything in his class today. Ha!" I laughed.

Then Patrick laughed louder.
Eh?

"I think you got that wrong. You did missed something, Case." He said, still laughing.

"Huh?" I gave him a confused look.

"Mr. Cruz will not give a class today. Or should I say, all the teachers."
He chuckled.

I still don't get it.

"Why?" I asked again.

"The school principal announced a sudden cancelling of classes today. They said that they'd prepared a surprise accquaintance party for all the students tonight. Especially, for the juniors." Patrick explained.

"WHAT????!" I shouted. Everyone in the room looked at me. Patrick put his hands to cover his ears.

What the--?! I ran as fast as I could, fearing I couldn't catch up with my first class, then end up knowing that classes were actually cancelled?! Who will not be disappointed with that?!

"Hey, I'm just infront of you. No need to shout." He said, his hands still covering his ears.

I felt ashame after. But still disappointed.

"Uhm. I'm sorry." I said.
Patrick just laughed then tapped my shoulder.
"It's okay Case. I understand if you're disappointed."
"Who won't be anyway.? Ts."
I sighed.

He smiled. "I think you better sit down and calm yourself. You looked like you've ran a million miles." He then raised his hand, holding a handkerchief, and wiped the sweat on my forehead. Where did he get that handkerchief? And why didn't I noticed that I'm already sweating?

I thanked him. He just smiled then started to walked to his chair.
"Wait." I called.
He turned to face me again. "Yes?"

"What time will it start?" I asked.

"Eight O'clock." He smiled and winked. Then turned his back.

Okay. So there's a party to night. Tsk, what's with the school principal this time? Sudden cancellation of classes because of some stupid party? Tsk, Hamillton University is getting worst.

I decided to went out of the room to look for Jewel and Dianne. Because classes were cancelled, I assumed they're out there roaming around the campus.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen them. So I just went to the library to read some books.

There are few students in the library as I went inside. I didn't wonder anymore. Students nowadays are more interested in social medias than books in the library. They thought that libraries are just for geeks. But for me, it's the best place ever. If only I'm allowed to live here, I'll spend my whole life reading and reading books. I found it more fun than talking to friends. And that's serious.

I walked around first. Searching for a good book to read. Then I found a mystery book. The Strange Case of Mr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Interesting.

I reached out to get it. But, unfortunately, I can't.
It's on a shelf beyond my reach. I tried to stretch my hands more higher that my arms hurts. But still I can't. The soles of my feet are barely touching the ground.
Then..

Blag!

I lost my balance.
Books fell as I hang myself for a hold to the bookshelf.

"Argh! Damn you!"

Cursed the guy beside me. But he said it in almost a whisper. Maybe still trying to be quiet even if he was hurted.

Another book fell on his head.

"Aw! What the hell are you doing lady?!" He hissed.

Now he's totally pissed.

"U-hm.. I- uhm.. s-sorry. A-are you okay?" I asked. Ofcourse he's not, stupid Casey.
I can't see his face because he is sitting down the floor with his hand caring his head. I think the book hit his head so bad.

Finally he looked at me. His eyes blazing with anger.

"S-Sco--.. ?!"
"Are you stupid? Do I look okay? A boo--.. no, books fell and hitted my head so hard. Y'know that feeling? 'Cause if you don't, I can do it to your head too with a bunch of books if you pleased." He said furiously.

I just stood there. Shocked.

Oh no. Now it's a bad day for me.
