"Damnit. Wake up!"

A harsh slap brought me back to consciousness, making me sit up abruptly with a sharp gasp. My head was pounding and it was hard to focus on anything specifically.

A breathless voice called out beside me and I turned my attention to the source. Aizwa bore an unfamiliar expression as he looked at me. My ears were ringing too much to make out what he was saying to me. I wasn't even sure if I was awake or not. I didn't feel exactly present.

The ringing stopped suddenly when the door burst in and my senses were flooded. My hands were cold and clammy and I looked down at them to find them and my arms pale, nearly white.

My head was still killing me and it was difficult to process when an older looking male in a white lab coat sat next to me, asking different questions. The main one was for me to explain what happened.

My throat was dry; making my voice come out harsh and a little squeaky, “I… I don't know.”

I knew what happened; how could I not? But I couldn't turn the events into an explanation.

The room fell silent as the door was kicked in once again.

My skin started feeling like it was too small, like it was starting to become straining. I looked up from my lap to see familiar candy cane- colored hair. Only, his gaze wasn't the usual comforting one.

His eyes were cold for a long moment before he let out a low, empty chuckle. He brought a hand to his face and shook his head, “Of course it was you.”

His words hurt more than I was expecting them too. It's not like I was expecting happiness; I went against what he wanted. Right back into the arms of the one he saved me from.

Opening my mouth to break the silence, he beat me to it.

“After everything I've done for you? You even let him go! How incompetent are you-”

His voice progressively raised in volume, making them only fall heavier onto me. I lowered my head and tugged at the collar of my shirt as it started getting a little hard to breathe.

I should have stayed in the room. I shouldn't have woken up at the very least.

I forced myself to look up again when the lecture was cut short only to watch as Todorokis head got thrown to the side. He stumbled and fell into the wall, reaching up to hold his jaw as he turned his glare to Aizawa.

“The fuck was that for?”

Aizawa shook his fist out before fixing his shirt. “Do not bring your daddy issues into here. This is not the time nor place for it.”

Ttodoroki responded, though I'm not sure what he said exactly. The blood flow in my ears was starting to get loud.

Has it always been that loud?

My arms started to feel heavy; the feeling starting to spread through my body.

The medic waved a little in front of my face; I'm sure he was asking something but my throat was closing up, I couldn't find the breath to respond.

The room started to spin again and I grabbed onto my leg for purchaseas I watched the two silently argue.

Its only because of me that theyre fighting. I really need to start listtening to Todoroki. He’s alwasy right; Im always wrong.

I binked slowly as I tried tto focus what they were saying, trying to listen past the quick breths I could barley get down.

Their attention turned to me quickly and it was gettiing a little difficult to stay sitting upright.

They both started rushing towards me and I leaned my head back to try get a better breath. I was looking at the ceiling before everything flashed white.

Oh, that's what's happening. I haven't had it this bad in a while.

I grabbed onto anything for purchase as I felt myself fall back, knowing it was going to be bad if I were to hit my head in this state.

It was hard to open my eyes, but I knew I didn't pass out. Something jerked me forward while a pair of hands grabbed the sides of my head. I felt a long breath be released onto my scalp as I continued to struggle in taking in a full breath.

My chest was starting to burn. I want it to stop.

A sharp pain in my shoulder was followed by a cooling sensation and the heaviness only got more persistent..

My throat started to feel not so tight, making it easier to breathe.

My head started to feel heavy as well as my breathing started to even out once again.

“That’s it, deep breaths…”

I couldn't determine who the voice belonged to, but it was comforting.

It was only then that my body fully relaxed and I slipped into unconsciousness once again.
