I felt giddy when the kiss was broken, butterflies going off in my stomach
This was it. This is what he wanted.
Bakuou looked down at the flowers again before humming as he wiped the blood from one of the petals. Perhaps he should stop thinking, devote himself to be just a follower. Things seemed to go wrong for the blonde whenever he started to think.
“Are you hungry? I have dinner waiting for us downstairs.”
When his hand came up to my cheek, I leaned into it without any hesitation. The act was rewarded by fingers working their way through spiky hair.
“Are we not eating in here?”
Todoroki smiled a bit pridefully and moved his hand down to my back as he stood next to me, pushing gently, “Come on. I think you'll like where we're having dinner."
Looking up at him I saw his warm, soft smile. The sight made it difficult to hold back my own excitement as I let him lead me through the halls.
When we reached the elevator, he pulled a blindfold out of his back pocket and held it out to me, "Do you trust me?"
Looking at the cloth, I had to take a breath and swallow down the uneasy feeling that came from it.
He wouldn't hurt me. He wants to protect me.
I nodded and closed my eyes, letting the fabric be put over them. The darkness that followed was a bit overwhelming, bringing back a heavy feeling settling in my stomach. I lifted my hand a bit as I took in a slow breath to calm myself. Warm hands encased mine and he hummed out softly, as if reading my mind.
“You're alright.” He lifted my hand further up and kissed my wrist as he kept a soft tone, “I got you. I won't let anything hurt you again.”
He kept hold of my hand while the other found its way to my lower back. He guided me into the elevator after it opened. I shifted my weight to my toes at how cold the floor was compared to the carpeted hallway. Tilting my head down a bit as I focused on listening to my surroundings. The doors slowly closed and I found myself holding onto his hand tighter when this morning ame to my mind. How many times could I have died today?
He pulled me into his side as he squeezed my hand back as he placed a kiss against my temple, “It’s just us. And I’ve doubled security. We’re okay.”
Letting out a slow breath, I nodded and leaned into his side. The elevator slowed to a stop and the doors opened slowly. The sound was just putting me more on edge.
He pushed in my lower back gently, edging me forward. I took a few cautious steps before falling into the rhythm of walking normally. There wasn't ever anything on the floors, so I shouldn't worry about tripping. "Where are we going..?"
"Outside."
I looked up towards his voice, raising my eyebrows in question, "I'm allowed outside?"
"For tonight. I've noticed you wanting to go here. And I thought a change of scenery would be nice."
I nodded along and stilled when the guiding hands left their places. I recoiled and shivered when there was a chilling breeze and took a few steps back before my hands were grabbed gently.
