It was a cold, Winter day in Japan. Rain slowly falling from the sky onto the icy pavements. Planes crossed each other in the sky, landing at their airports. Once one of the planes coming from Australia did land, one person, a tall, Maroon-haired boy, stepped out of the plane and left the airport, only to be greeted by his mum and sister who stayed in Japan.

"Huh? Why are you two out here without an umbrella!?"
"Could ask you the same, how were you expecting to get home?"
"Ask a friend to drop me off or something..."
"Pfft, you have friends?"
"Wha- Of course I do!"
"Now now Rin, no need to get upset" Rin's mum and sister laughed a bit, Rin annoyed. Everyone got into the taxi as they went home. Being inside the warm transport and not the freezing air felt nice for them.

Once they got home, they all took off their shoes to let them dry and their jackets. Rin jogged into the kitchen, placing his suitcase on the table and opening it.
"I got you two some souvenirs from Australia." Rin took out  a small box from his bag, opening it to reveal two small necklaces with an animal from Australia at the bottom of it. One having a Koala and another having a Kangaroo. The animals had small gems on them, causing them to shine.
"They look pretty!" Rin's and Gou's mum picked up the necklaces, staring at them and smiling. Rin laughed a bit until he remembered something he was meant to ask them both earlier.
"Oh, right! Have you heard from Sousuke? He hasn't been reading any of my messages." Gou and her mum looked at each other and then back at Rin.
"Nope, he came round once but that was the same day you left so he could have dinner. Other than that then I haven't heard from him since." Gou laughed a bit, looking around like she was expecting Sousuke to be hiding somewhere.
"This again... alright thanks." Rin walked to the door, picking up an umbrella.
"Where are you going?"
"Visiting Sousuke. Making sure he doesn't ignore me again."
"Alright! Make sure you're back before 9pm!"
"Got it!" Rin opened the door and left, heading for Sousuke's. The rain poured throughout the streets as Rin made his adventure. Finally, he got there.

Knocking at the door, Rin waited patiently. Then, the door opened.
"Hello? Oh, Rin!"
"Mr. Yamazaki! Hey!"
"What brings you here, Rin?"
"I came to see Sousuke!" Instantly, a dark expression filled his face.
"Right um...He's not here right now... Maybe come back tomorrow?"
"Huh? Uh, alright! See you tomorrow!" Rin waved and made his way home, thinking about where Sousuke could be. Once he got back home, he was greeted by his mum and sister.
"Back already?" Gou was halfway up the stairs when she called out to her brother.
"Sousuke wasn't home"
"Well don't be too upset your boyfriend wasn't there to greet you~!"
"Boy...Gou!" Gou laughed and ran up to her room just as Rin's mum walked over and took the umbrella.
"Ignore her. It's just because you two are around each other like a cat and it's toy." Rin's mum laughed as he pulled an unimpressed face. Then, Rin went upstairs.

He fell back into his bed, reaching out to his phone and going on Messenger, opening the contact 'Sousuke':

Rin: Yo, I'm back from Australia!
Rin: Sousuke?
Rin: Text me back when you see this.... _________________________________________________________

Rin let out a rough sigh, covering himself with a blanket, a sad expression.
"He'll text me later..." Then, he fell asleep.
