I Remember You, Rin

C2 The day of problems

The birds were singing, the trees were dancing and the people were am audience. The winter holidays just began for Rin and the others. Yet, Rin didn't care about that. All he cared about was why Sousuke was still anonymous. Every 5 seconds he'd check his phone, seeing if it's a message or a call from Sousuke. But not once did that happen. Until it all changed.

Rin put his shoes on, tying his hair back and reaching for the door. Until, someone stopped him.
"Don't think you're going on a run without me!"
"Gou? Why do you now want to go on a run too?"
"You've been so gloomy ever since Sousuke stopped reaching out to you! I might as well keep you distracted from whatever you think is going on with Sousuke!"
Rin smiled a little as he opened the door.
"Well, we'll see if you can catch up with me." Then, they took off. Running through each alleyway, past houses, shops and dogs, they kept running. Then, Rin made it to his destination first before Gou, the gym. After 10 seconds, Gou caught up, panting. "You run too fast." Rin snickered a bit at this. "You just run too slow!" Then, both Matsuoka's walked inside the Gym.

 "If you want, I could book you in-" Then, Rin was interrupted. "I don't need the Gym, I'm just here to watch everyone work out~!" Rin sighed, clearly not impressed. Then, they both continued walking, Rin going to work out at Gou sitting down. Then, an unexpected guest came running over. "Rin-Senpai! You're here too" The tall, red haired boy couldn't help but shiver when he instantly knew who it was, especially when a second voice called out. "Momo! You can't just interrupt Rin like that!" Then, Rin slowly turned around to be greeted by a 5'8 ginger haired boy and a smaller 5'6 grey haired boy. "Momo, Nitori, weird seeing you two here...!" Then, Momo spoke louder. "We came here because Ai-Senpai didn't want to come here alone!" Rin laughed a little as Nitori's face went red. "Momo-Kun! You didn't have to tell him that!" Rin waved his hand a little, still laughing. "It's fine, I was the same when I first went here." Then, Momo ran off. "Gou-San!" Rin sighed, Nitori getting the message and chasing after Momo. After a couple of minutes, Momo and Nitori returned to Rin. "Rin-Senpai! Can we come over your place today?" Momo had a bright smile planted into his face. Once again, Rin had to sigh. "I'm going over Sousuke's today, I doubt he'd want you two there too." Momo's smile vanished, a small pout creeping through instead. "Why not~!" Nitori sighed this time, now getting fed up. "Momo-Kun, if Sousuke-Senpai doesn't want us there then you don't have to question his choices." Momo nodded in reply. Then, Rin smiled a little. "But fine, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt Sousuke for you two to join, we can all hang out together." Momo cheered as Nitori smiled brightly, all packing up their stuff and Rin walking over to his sister, Nitori holding Momo back. "Gou, we're leaving earlier than planned. If it's alright with you then we're going Sousuke's on our way back." Gou smirked a little. "Hm? Sousuke's now~" Rin faceplanted a bit. "I'm checking up on him! Nothing else!" Gou ket out a disappointed sigh as she stood up. "Alright, let's go!"

Everyone made their way to Sousuke's, Nitori having to hold onto Momo's arm to make sure he doesn't run off. Of course, Rin joked around with this. "You could always hold his hand instead, Ai." Nitori went a bit red and shouted back a little. "Wha- No! That would be too embarrassing!" Both Matsuoka's laughed a bit, Momo and Nitori silent. Then, Gou spoke. "Nothing wrong with two guys holding hands! I see Rin and Sousuke do it all the time!" Rin instantly spoke back. "What do you mean!?" Gou laughed a bit. "What, thought I wouldn't see you both?" Momo decided he had to join in on this conversation. "I've seen that before! They were walking out of the changing rooms and me and Ai-Senpai saw them laughing and holding hands!" Rin looked over at Nitori to see if this was true. "I-I was going to tell you but I completely forgot!" Rin looked away in annoyance. "Tch, whatever..." Gou laughed a bit. "Rin's embarrassed~!" Rin shot an angry expression at Gou. "I'm not embarrassed!" Then, Momo laughed along. "He's definitely embarrassed!" Rin turned to face them and calmed down a little. "Well you're only saying that to hide the fact you're embarrassed of Nitori holding your arm!" Momo paused for a second, Nitori's face going a little pale when he laughed nervously. "I'm only holding his arm because I knew you wouldn't want him running around Gou-San... H-He wouldn't be embarrassed." Rin frowned a bit and sighed. "Momo, take the lead quickly, Gou, Nitori, stay behind a bit, we'll catch up soon." Momo nodded and ran ahead, Nitori and Gou waiting behind. Then, Rin turned to Nitori. "You were upset, weren't you?" Nitori's face warmed up a little as he laughed nervously. "O-Of course not! Plus, it's obvious he likes Gou-San so-" Nitori was then interrupted. "Trust me, I don't like him that way so he's all yours! Plus, if I helped out I'm sure I could get him to confirm his love for-" Then, Nitori spoke again. "N-No it's fine, trust me! Plus, we should focus on how far Momo is getting right now!" Everyone turned to see Momo at least 1 minute ahead. Then, they all chased him. 

Everyone panted as they got to Momo, Rin pushing Nitori infront. "Ai, keep Momo under control again." Nitori nodded, going to hold his arm again until Rin glared at him. Nitori shook his head no but Rin continued glaring at him. Then, Nitori sighed and instead of grabbing his arm, Nitori grabbed his hand. Of course, since he was hesitant, he grabbed his hand softly, causing both of their faces to brighten up a bit. Then, Nitori pulled Momo forwards, continuing to walk. "L-Lets just go..." Everyone continued walking. On the way there, the walk was full of laughs, teases and embarrassed gays <3. That was until Gou  accidently bumped into someone. "Oops, sorry!" Gou went to continue walking until a painful grip circled her arm. She turned to see a man's hand wrapped tightly around her wrist. "H-Hey, let go!" Gou tried to pull away but it just sharpened the pain more. Then, Rin noticed and grabbed the mans arm, glaring at him. "Let go of my sister." The man, around mid 30's, chuckled. "As if, she's the one who bumped into me and walked away." Then, Gou interfered. "I apologized!" Then, the man closed all gaps between his hand and Gou's bones, creating a giant cracking noise as a scream from Gou escaped, tears  falling from shock and pain. Nitori and Momo rushed to help Gou whilst Rin couldn't hold back, punching the man in the face. Not stopping, both of them fell onto the floor, Rin continuing to punch him back and forth for around 20 seconds until Nitori dragged him back. "M-Matsuoka-Senpai! It's fine now! You've knocked him out!" Rin sighed, trying to calm down as his fists slowly opened. Then, he ran to Gou, gently holding onto her arm as she continued crying. Momo backed away a little, letting Rin make sure his sister was ok. Then, Rin quickly pulled his phone out of his pocket, shouting. "Nitori, you call for the ambulance, I'll call my mum." Nitori nodded and quickly dialled for the ambulance, Rin shouting again. "Momo, you hold her arm up like I am and make sure she's ok!" Momo nodded and did as instructed, Rin now calling his mum. Then, she answered.
