Chapter 9

Kent's Point of View:

I was bored when it came to some subjects that passed. Fortunately, Natasha has car racing, so I can do what I want freely. The ABM strand is so hard, but because I want a car, and I need to study business. I sighed and looked at the worksheets given by the major teachers. We also did a lot, and I'm only halfway done.

As long as I can study and get that car, I will do it. Mommy doesn't like failing grades, but she never pressured us. We're really just putting pressure on ourselves. We are afraid to disappoint them, so as long as we can, we will do it.

"Class dismissed. All the worksheets are here, and I will bring them tomorrow."

He smiled and left the room. 

"Finally!" Wade exclaimed and clapped his hands once. 

"Excited huh?" sabi ni Shane. I looked at her and she's raising her brow. 

"Of course," nakangising sabi ni Wade. "Sinong hindi?"

Ngumisi ako at agad na lumabas ng classroom. Everyone is calling Wade and him, on the other hand is smiling. Tanging tango at ngisi lang ang sagot ko sa mga tumatawag sa akin. Pagbaba namin ng third floor ay agad kong nakita sila Stella. Nagtaas ako ng kilay nang makita na naman si Drake at hawak nito ang bag ng kapatid ko. 

"Drake, you're here," sabi ko. He looked at me and we did a fist bump. "Sasama ka ba sa amin mamaya? Car racing ni Natasha."

He nodded his head and smiled. "Sure."

We stayed downstairs, and I waited for Natasha because her class is not yet done. They were all talking about the car racing that was going to happen later. I immediately saw Natasha with Rosalinda, but my forehead furrowed when I saw the wound on my sister's lip.

"What happened to your lips?" nagtatakang tanong ko. 

"Cat fight by cheap girls," sabi ni Rosalinda. She looked angrily at Wade. "Please tell your girls to not disturb Natasha. Dahil kung hindi, I will report them to Ate Savannah." 

Napasinghap si Wade at agad na pumunta kay Natasha na pinupunasan ang bibig niya.

"Who did that to her?" His eyes were angry. He looked at my sister gently. "Sino ang gumawa niyan sa 'yo?"

"You heard Rosalinda. I don't need to explain," sabi ni Natasha at agad na lumakad palayo sa amin. 

Wade sighed and looked at Natasha. Napailing ako at tinapik ang balikat niya. I can feel his frustration.

"Just... leave her alone for the meantime. Mainit ang ulo," nakangiting sabi ni Clyde.

Sabay-sabay kaming naglakad papunta sa parking lot at habang naglalakad, tinawagan ko ang mga susundo sa mga kapatid ko. When I got to the parking lot, I saw Wade and Natasha talking. If they lower their pride a little, everything will be fine at baka nga magkabalikan pa silang dalawa. I shook my head and immediately got on my motorcycle with Natasha and Stella. We got to the house immediately without traffic, and I immediately went upstairs to change my clothes.
