Hayes's POV

I felt so stupid. I don't even know why I kissed her. I don't even like her like that! Or really like her at all! Sure we have those moments, but, no.

She rushed out of the little pool thing and was gone. I awkwardly put the tube away and went to the pool to swim with the guys for the last few minutes. "Hey." I swam up to some of the boys.

"How was your tube ride?" Nash asked.

"Fine. Why do you ask?" I answered nervously.

"We heard screaming from all the way over here." Cameron chimed in.

"Anything else?" I questioned.

"Nope." Nash replied.

I nodded and swam over to Mikayla. "Hey." I flipped my hair.

"Hi." She smiled.

"So how's your day going?" I asked.

"Good. I can really tell Riley's trying to be nice to you guys. I'm really glad she decided to come." Mikayla exclaimed.

"That's good. What do you mean she decided to come? I thought she had to." I asked confused.

"She was originally being forced but then I just said whatever, then she decided to come." She explained.

"Oh okay. It's sad this day's almost over." I looked down.

"You say that to every fan at the end of the day don't you?" She asked.

"No. Just the one's who I had lots of fun with." I responded.

"But what about Riley? I know she was being a pain to you guys. She wasn't trying to though. She is actually a really nice, loveable, friendly, outgoing person if you get to know her. As long as she doesn't hate you." Mikayla admitted.

"Um, yeah. Riley and I, we, we, um, we aren't on the best of terms. Especially not after our tube ride." I told her.

"Why not?" She asked, a bit depressed.

"She just got mad at me and I got mad at her." I lied.

"Where is Riley anyways?" Mikayla questioned, concern in her voice.

"I'm not sure. I didn't see where she ran off to." I replied.

"I'm going to go look for her. Maybe she's in the change room." Mikayla said as she walked out of the wave pool.

Riley's POV

I ran my fingers through my tangled, wet hair. I looked down then back up at the mirror. I was so mad at Hayes! I hate him even more now and there was no way he was ever becoming my friend now.

"Ri? You in here?" I heard a female voice. I looked over to see that the voice belonged to Mikayla. "Riley! There you are! What happened between you and Hayes? He said you and him are mad at each other. What did you do?"

"I didn't do nothing. It was Hayes's fault. He's the reason." I snapped.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Nothing. Go back out there and spend some time with them. Make the last of this day good. I'm sorry for ruining it. I shouldn't have come." I apologized.

"Riley, I'm glad. I'm glad you came because this is something I wanted to share with no other person but you. And what makes me even more glad is that you tried. You tried to make this day the best it could be for me. And I know I can't make you like them. But I thought this might show you a part of me. And I hope you know that." Mikayla turned around and walked out of the change room.
