Riley's POV
I know I sound like a bitch saying no, but I just can't forgive him. Not yet anyways. "Please Riley." He begged. I stared at him. He stared back at me, his eyes looking for an answer.
"We can never go back to the way we were." I snapped. He again looked at me, but this time sadness and emptiness filled his eyes. "All we can ever be is friends." I said, filling in the empty silence. I looked at Jayden for a second, then turned to go catch up with Alexis and Sala. I instead seen that everyone was looking at Jayden and I.
I looked at the ground and caught up with them. "That was cold." Sala whispered.
"No, it's called doing what I had to do." I growled.
"Whatever. Lets go back to my place." Alexis shrugged. I followed them and the group of us were soon standing at the door of Alexis's house.
"Okay, I wanna watch a movie and just chill." Sala announced. They all agreed to the plan and soon Mason was holding Insidious in his hands. While Brett had grabbed Neighbours, and Jayden picked out Jurassic Park. Sala was dead set on watching Mean Girls, and Alexis wanted to watch Vampire Academy. And then there was me, trying to decide whether I wanted to watch Monsters Inc. or if I wanted to watch The Blind Side. I ended up coming back into the room with The Blind Side in my grasp.
"Mean Girls is the best! That's why we should watch it!" Sala argued.
"Uh, no. Jurassic Park is way better!" Jayden argued back. Everyone was arguing.
"Guys, stop." I quietly said. No one heard me. So I said it a bit louder. And still no one heard me. It was like I was a ghost or something to them. "GUYS, STOP!" I screamed. And suddenly, I wasn't a ghost to them anymore. They all stared at me, shocked. I wasn't one to yell or get all pissy pants. I was always generally a happy person, and I still was. "Are you guys seriously arguing over a movie? A movie? Come on, you can't be serious. What are you? Five? Cause it sure looks like it right now." I shook my head. They still stared at me, but this time, with a scared look on their face. "Since you guys are acting like children, we'll vote like children." I announced. "Now close your eyes." I instructed. Surprisingly they did as told with no questions or comments. I must've sounded really mad. "Okay, so we're going to do an anonymous vote. You vote by raising your hand when I say the name of the movie if you want to watch it. And you can't vote to watch the movie you chose. As well as keep your eyes closed." I explained. I figured I should explain it as simple as possible for the boys. (If you know what I mean. And what I mean is they're stupid). "Okay, who wants to watch Insidious?" I asked. No one raised their hands. "Okay, who wants to watch Neighbours?" Mason raised his hand. I nodded. "Jurassic Park?" No hands again.
I had 3 piles; 1 for movies where no hands were raised, 1 for the movies where hands were raised, and 1 for the movies I still had to put through voting. "Vampire Academy?" I questioned. Not one hand. "Mean Girls." I said. Alexis put her hands up. "Um, Alexis. Why do you have two hands up?" I asked.
"One's for Sala. Since she can't vote for her movie I'll vote for her." She explained. I shook my head laughing quietly.
"Okay, so, what about The Blind Side?" I looked at everyone. They still had their eyes closed. Brett, Sala, and Jayden put their hands up. "Okay you can open your eyes now." I told everyone. "See how easy it is to pick a movie? Now if you guys didn't argue like that we could've done it a more mature way." I explained.
"So what movie are we watching?" Mason asked, wanting me to hurry up and get straight to the point of my lecture.
"We're watching The Blind Side." I replied.
