Riley's POV

I woke up in an empty bed. I groaned and rolled over to where my phone was. I checked the time, 10am. I sighed and rolled out of bed. I looked over the railing to see Hayes in the kitchen making breakfast. I skipped down the stairs and gave him a hug from behind, standing on my tippy toes to rest my head on his shoulder.

"Morning."

"Morning, Riley." Hayes replied as he was making eggs.

"Do you have to go today?" I asked.

He turned to face me. "Yes. I don't want to either but I have to." Hayes picked me up and set me on the island and turned around to flip the eggs.

"Hayes?" I said.

"Yes?" He responded, putting the egg on the plate. "You forgot something." I snickered.

"What?" He asked, turning around to face me.

"Come here, I'll tell you." I replied. He walked towards me until he was standing in between my legs.

"What did I forget?" He asked.

"This." I smiled and leaned in to kiss him. It was slow, and passionate, full of lust and desire.

I pulled away, smirking. "What? Does my breathe smell bad?" He asked confused.

"No, well, yes, but um, I think your eggs are burning." I smirked and pointed to the pan.

"Oh shit!" He quickly ran over and flipped it. "Only a little black." He shrugged. "That's your egg." He told me.

"Why mine?"

"Because you distracted me from cooking. That's dangerous." Hayes scolded me.

I rolled my eyes playfully and shook my head. I hopped off the island and checked out the bowl on the counter. "Ooh! Bacon and eggs!" I shrieked.

"And toast." He added, putting the last egg on the plate.

"And toast." I smiled. I put the bowl of bacon on the island and the plate of eggs while Hayes was getting the toast ready. He grabbed the condiments and juice then sat down. "Oh my gosh, BACON!" I yelled.

Hayes laughed and we finished eating and cleaned up, him washing and me drying. "What time is your flight again?" I asked.

"Two-thirty." He answered. It was about 10:30am.

"Are you all packed?" I questioned, trying to sound happy.

"Yeah." He nodded.

"What are we going to do?" I asked.

"I don't know, we'll talk about it later." He replied.

"No, we're going to talk about this now, Hayes. Every time I ask you, you just say 'I don't know, we'll talk about it later'. Hello, Hayes! It's later! You're leaving in 4 and a 1/2 hours! We need to figure this out!" I huffed, I had tears in my eyes.

"But that's the thing, Riley. I don't want to figure it out. 'Cause once we figure it out, then that means I'm leaving. And I don't want to do that." He sighed.

"But you are, and we can't stop that." I replied. Silence fell over us, each of us waiting for the other to say something.

"You know, I think we should just break up." I finally said.

"What? Why? Riley?" He looked at me, his eyes full of hurt.
