Hayes's POV

I took Riley's hand as we walked out the door. I don't know what Cameron and Nash said to Riley, but I probably don't want to know anyways. I couldn't wait to see the reaction that Riley would have on her face when she would see where we were going.

"The museum?" She said bored.

"I told you were were going to do a super boring activity." I chuckled.

"Well I didn't think you meant it literally!"

"I had too." I smirked.

"I hate you." Riley joked.

"I hate you too." I joked back. "We aren't going to walk through the whole museum. Just one part." I informed her.

"And what part is that?" She questioned.

"The dinosaur section!" I tried to sound excited.

"Wow!" Riley gasped, playing along. We walked around the whole dinosaur exhibit. We actually had a good time, at least I did anyways. This was one of my last few weeks here, then I had to go back home. So I wanted to just make it fun, and not seem like it was my last few weeks here. "Alright, you are no longer in charge of planning dates." She laughed.

"What? And why not? That date was perfect!" I lied, laughing too.

"Why not? Because it was boring! It was not perfect." She admitted. "But it was worth a shot. I'm just not one who can sit around and do nothing." Riley shrugged. She was right. She's always gotta be doing something. And I don't mind it at all. "Guess where I think we should go tomorrow." She stated.

"Okay, where?" I asked.

"The arcade." She smiled.

"The arcade? That's new." I nodded.

"Well I figured we should do something different and switch it up a bit from what we regularly do. Plus you've been here all summer, and you have not once yet been to the arcade." Riley explained.

"Sounds like a date." I chuckled. "What time tomorrow?" I questioned.

"Oooh. Sorry I can't tomorrow. My mom and dad said I've been spending a lot of time with you so they want me to go to the city with them tomorrow. The day after though." She told me.

"Okay, that's fine." I agreed. I was kind of glad I wasn't going to get to see her tomorrow. Everyone needs a bit of space, and so far this summer I haven't felt like I've really gotten it yet.

"Hey, Hayes." Nash called.

"Hey." I answered.

"So . . ." He smirked.

"What?" I asked, already knowing what the question was.

"How was your date?" He smiled.

"Good." I nodded, grabbing a grape out of the fruit bowl and putting it in my mouth. "Went better then I expected." I added.

"Where did you take her?" Nash asked.

"The museum." I laughed.

"What?" He asked shocked.

"Yeah. She is always on the go, so I wanted to just have a chill date. One were it's not so . . . intriguing or interesting or whatever that word is." I shrugged.

"Ooh." Nash acknowledged. "You mean exciting?" He questioned.

"Yeah, that word." I replied before sitting down on the couch. "Where's Cam?" I asked before Nash headed upstairs.
